You did a beautiful job on such a poor baby that really needed some help. I can only imagine how painful all that dirty, matted, flea infested hair must have felt and the relief when it was cut off. Thanks fo helping this poor animal. God bless you and your grooming salon. May you continue to prosper so that you are able to bless these animals.
I would LOVE a follow up video when her fur grows out. Such a lovely, well tempered girl. I bet she lost her family, the family tried to find her...but she became unrecognizable. Poor love. Glad she has a home now. What a little Lady ♡
I've been grooming for 19 years and as satisfying as it is to help a dog like that I also know how tense of a job that is as well. You did a great job and I can't believe how good that little girl was. It must've felt so good to her to have those mats released from her.❤️
No one forced u to watch it then take the time to write a nasty comment....why not just turn it off if it bothers u so much , jeez how much are u doing for animals in need....?? for free too. This lady has given hours of her free time up to do this and u write a comment like that ....WTF!
I don't know how she ended up on the street but you can tell she was groomed before. She must feel pounds lighter and so much better. Thanks to the groomer, you did a beautiful job and for free. Thanks to her new owner for finding her and giving her a new life. Bless you both ❤️
She is so adorable, she tolerated the grooming really well. I'm surprised there was only 3 ticks on her and they were baby ticks, not adult ticks. You did really good with her, thank you!!!
I love how at first she was trying to squirm away, but halfway through she realized how amazing it was and let you do your thing! I was especially surprised how calm she was when you were trimming her face. She loved it at that point :)
Been grooming Seven years now and I have seen three dogs matted like this over my time. none Homeless, just by owners who don't care and only brought their dogs in because the dog had health issues. A Maltese, Bichon Fris and a Golden Doodle. The Golden Doodle was the hardest one to do, four years old and never been to a groomer, the mats were over the eyes and couldn't see. I'm glad you where able to help this fur baby out, having done grooms like these I know its not easy and how heartbreaking it is to see a Pup in this condition. You're a wonderful Human.
@@resolecca The place I was working at ( I work for myself now) protected its clients by saying that if we reported them we forfeit our right to work there, also with state laws bringing them to a groomer is a sign that they are getting them help so reporting them wont come with much weight unless they bring them in like that multiple times.
@@resolecca unfortunately, them going to the groomers is the first step to 'bettering' the care, so police or aspca, etc. can't/won't do anything. best thing that can be done is to do the groom and try to get a wellness check done a few months later (if you happen to get their address), but even then it's unlikely much will be done
She looks so pretty. What a relief it must be to her to be rid of the fur, matting, fleas and ticks. I hope she has a great home to go to where she'll be loved and well cared for. Thank you for giving this girl the excellent grooming she needed. God bless you!
I love how gentle you were with her and the huge improvement to her quality of life. Thank you to the man who has adopted her and to you for grooming her for free xx
As long as we re judging, You don't sound like fartoo much "pro Bono's" going down? Your work is valuable! The Hell it's not! Act like it...pretty please?😁
What a precious dog. I agree her demeanor on the table indicates she was once taken care of. Thank you for bringing my her back to being a beautiful lady ❤️
It breaks my heart to know a sweet girl like this has been living in this condition for who knows how long. She looks sooooo much better! Imagine how cute she’s going to be in a few months! Thank you for taking care of her, and thanks to her new adopting dad! 💞
It feels so good to see her getting groomed. The patience the dog is showing says how much better she is feeling getting all cleaned up. More power to u guys
What a little sweetheart! No animal should be in that amount of pain and discomfort. So glad she found a good home with someone who will give her the love and attention she deserves! 💕💕💕
So good of you to groom her. I'm so glad that a nice man is caring for her! I hope that he gets a dog sweater for her since her coat had to be shaved down.
Even under the dirt and hair you can see what a sweet little girl she is, just look at her face. Melts my heart. She must have been miserable! Flees hurt. Wonderful someone adopted her already. 💕
The fact that she was so calm during the groom means that she almost certainly was accustomed to the process and not a street dog.. which means she either was abandoned or separated from her family :(
@@avariceseven9443 agreed, whatever the circumstances it's sad. Thank you for helping this sweet baby and for your video. You're wonderful. And I'm so glad this girl's story has a happy ending, in large part because of you :)
@Sam Ulzzan wish my dog is like that. Mine i’ve raised since it was 1 month old. Was very gentle to him and i love him so much but grooming is a chore with him specially when it’s with his feet and nails and the face area.
He presents training in 7 days. Each of 7 items are commands that he believes a dog should know. They are presented in part ii of the book ru-vid.comUgkxK8-VQWpYThx4IC6MiIvb6VS1ebTzzdxq . The parts of the guideare divided: part i know your dog part ii the seven commands part iii cures for 7 behavior problems. Each chapter presents a topic, a dog's story, and a "what to do". It was written simply and you can jump from chapter to chapter to review anything as needed.
That was amazing!! Most groomers would have said no! You are a wonderful person!! Thanks you for donating your time and expertise and supplies and kindness!!
Why would they say 'No'. She doesn't seem aggressive and groomers should know how to handle these severly matted dogs. Well done for making her life better
Any groomer who would say no to grooming her is only in business for the money. To groom a pupper in this condition is extremely rewarding. Not everything in life is about profit (or at least it shouldn't be) and this is one of those instances. Great job. Wishing this little girl a lifetime of love and care in her new home.
Most groomers would not say no??? I know from experience, you truly have it twisted the groomers I have known over the years 10+ would take the dog and give him or her a great life stop the pet co and pet smart nonsense, even most of them wouldn't turn a dog in such discomfort away
I love giving these dogs an extra (but gentle) scrubbing as they’ve been so itchy for so long and have had no way to scratch! I can’t last 5 seconds when my back is itchy- can you imagine wearing 20 tshirts and no way to relieve it!?
@kızgın tosbağa pretty sure it's not because she's a woman. i don't know much about dogs, so i can't say for sure, but i trust that if she didn't give this dog a second bath for the purpose you suggested, it's because the dog didn't need one. have a nice day.
@@mellow_mallow I don’t think English is their first language so I don’t think he meant “women in general can’t understand how the dog can get itchy after a haircut.” I think he was specifically referencing to the woman in the video. Also he said “second bathroom” instead of saying “second bath” In my opinion though, since her profession is grooming I’m sure she has good judgment in making sure a dog is fully free of extra fur. Plus, the dog didn’t like the bathing so I’m sure there was a threshold challenge as well so a second bath would have to be a no since it was stressing the dog out already.
@kızgın tosbağa I think the OP meant she just likes giving dogs like these a good bath - I don’t think she meant literally an extra bath. Just that she likes giving them a good scrub and wash.
@kızgın tosbağa Are you seriously trying to draw a false equivalence between the experience of a man dry shaving his face and a dog being groomed? 😂😂😂 As a man I understand what you're saying about dry shaving making the face itchy... but as an experienced groomer I know that a second bath is unnecessary... A simple wipe of her face with a damp cloth will suffice and that was probably not shown in this edited video. In any case, a dog that is accustomed to being groomed knows how to deal with a little discomfort.
@kızgın tosbağa 😂😂😂 Are you actually trying to say that you know exactly what experience this dog was going through by equating it to a man dry shaving?? 😂😂😂 Ok... well you're obviously just a contrarian looking for an argument where none exists... You don't HAVE an argument because you cannot possibly know what it's like to be groomed from the DOG'S perspective... As I stated, a simple wipe of the dog's face with a damp cloth would suffice! You're drawing a false equivalence by comparing it to a man shaving!! 😂😂😂
As a former mobile groomer I saw a LOT of this. The owners often called for a mobile groomer because they were too embarrassed to go to a salon. She handled it very well.
@@jonathanard7885 - I realise that... It doesn't make my assertion any less valid. The fact that she is so well behaved proves that she belonged to someone previously.
@@lucianamontalvo2592 - Because the hair needs to be completely dry for the clippers to work properly and it's almost impossible to dry hair that is layered in thick mats like this dog had.
That was the sweetest, most well-behaved dog I’ve ever seen! It broke my heart to see the condition he was in when he first came in! I’ve never seen an animal in that condition! You could tell the poor guy was so happy to get that long hair cut and those gawd-awful tics off him! I hope God Blesses the two groomers working on him!! I’m so glad to see we still have people in this world who care so much for animism’s!
My fiancee and I have an elderly Maltese who was almost in this bad of shape when we got him. Took us three days to actually get him fully trimmed up. Cut to almost a year later, he sleeps on our bed and gets as much love and care as he's needed all those years.
Wow really great job. You must be a perfectionist. This dog must be a happy dog now. I wish I was also there to help somehow but you did a wonderful job. The other thing I would do is probably check for oral infections and worms but that's vet's job.
Боже, какая грустная, несчастная собака была, вся в блохах и клещах, такая маленькая... По моему она ещё не поняла, что ей очень повезло)))) вы молодцы, что помогаете таким животным, без вас они бы совсем пропали! Спасибо! 👍👍👍👏👏👏
It's always moving to witness the skill, kindness and compassion of the workers who care for abandoned or shelter dogs and cats. I support the shelters, ASPCA and Humane Society who do important work. Thank you for all of the wonderful human helpers who make an enormous difference.
Stunning condition for any dog. She must have grown up in a loving home. I knew a dog that when his dad died, his greedy son sold the house and dumped the dog. Under all the dreadlocks, there was a collar with an address. The RSPCA caught up with the son who said she was run over when they were at the seaside and disposed of. He ended up in court.
Fellow Groomer here 🤘 You rock!! I’ve sadly had to groom more dogs like this than I could keep track. It truly is the most rewarding work, and worth your efforts. You’re an angel! ❤️
This transformation is the best one I've seen. I love how gentle you are with her and the little comments you flash on the screen. She looks sooooo sooo pretty. That's what I tell Princess Penny (my chihuahua). She looks forward to her bath times because we all tell her how pretty she is during and after. She looks so proud and understands every word.
Your calm, patient and gentle energy really seems to help these frightened and neglected dogs. Even when they struggle, you just wait. You are the kind of groomer we all wish we had, but the rescue organizations cherish. The dog gods have blessed you.
I never seen a dog that was found on the streets be in such bad condition! D: I'm so glad you helped her so she is in a better condition! Nothing is better than being cleaned up and back to a great state :) Edit: because I'm tired of people not being able to read my poor english (it's my first language yet I still end up confusing people) Due to the fact I am not yet on my own, I am not allowed to take in wild/abandoned animals. The main point of hat I was saying is that it's so nice of this person to help these owners with their pets, and in this case help the dog that was found in such a poor state; to the last bit, I was just saying how nice it is to be clean for not only animals but humans as well. (Good hygiene) I don't want to get anymore comments about if I do this kind of thing because I can't (I would donate to shelters/homless if I could). I thought it was so kind of this person to help that owner with that poor dog. Sorry for any confusion to those who couldn't tell what I was saying.
@@no_u_420 what's my question got to do with you? I wasn't talking to you and my question is does the person only help homeless animals or homeless people too. So if youre looking for someone to troll then look elsewhere. Or simply mind your own fucking business when someone ain't talking to you.
Sadly, As someone who worked in a salon for about a decade now, I've met a few dogs like this, who sadly actually live in people's houses, not just on the street.
@@johnlaslett5339 Well first of all you're in a public comment section. Second of all is that you replied to someone else's comment asking your question, making it look like you're asking the commenter, which looks out of place considering what they said. Maybe if you wrote your own comment asking the video uploader directly, you'd get a better reply. Also are you okay? You got way too aggressive for no reason.
I think from her behavior it is clear she was once well taken care of. She was very comfortable on the table with the clippers. She had a good life at one point before whatever occurred that put her on the street. Good to see her taken care of again.
Sometimes dogs escape and nobody finds them. I wouldn’t assume anything nefarious here. When I was 17, the dog I got for my 5th birthday disappeared. She was pretty nasty to strangers. She wouldn’t have left the yard on her own and she would never have left me. Weeks later they found a cache of dog collars in a field. Someone was stealing dogs and selling them to research labs. Her collar was among them. It had to have been someone she knew. Nobody expected that to happen. You never know what will happen. If they hadn’t found that cache, I’d never have known.
Awww... I've had little dogs like this all my life (even growing up we had little hairy pooches). They do need regular maintenance with their long hair but ticks! That's life threatening + fleas... It's so easy these days to treat fleas. She must of felt so much relief and comfort after this grooming. Awww poor darling! Thankyou for helping her 👍🌷🌈💖🌠
I also need a new pair of clippers, I bought a cordless clipper that was almost three hundred dollars and you can't even attach and guards to it! big mistake. Now my corded one is going in and out like the cord is messed up so I need a clipper that you can change the blades out and attach guards to!
Me too! I’m a groomer too. In my neighborhood they call me the dog whisper lol I can’t train my own dog. But I love to groom a dog like this once in a while. In the bath I give them a massage and most after all those Matt’s are removed love this!!! Probably so itchie ❤
It is truly heartfelt feelings I have for this video...you are soooo kind to do this free for this little poochie! She seems to know she is being helped and stands like a brave gurl through it all! Bless you Groom House!
I'm amazed by how easy you make grooming look! I've tried myself and it's NOT easy! Thanks for doing the work you do... you and your husband are really good people. Xxxxx
This dog is a champ 🏆 seriously though. After everything it's gone through and the condition , still the dog does so well and was very patient during the whole process. Even paws and face! This dog seems to be familiar with being groomed. Clearly not in quite some time , you did an amazing job!
Sweet baby!!! You can tell she felt so much better afterwards 😊 Couldn't help but smile everytime you hit her happy spot and that lil leg went to kicking 🥰
Love your kindness and gentile handling of this poor little fur baby. I would have liked to heard more conversation instead of fast forwarding to music. I sure the rescuer/owner is going to adore what you've done. Your a real humanitarian. Thank you.
It makes me very sad to see a puppy like that, but when I see good people like you doing their best for these animals, I believe in humanity again. God bless them
This was so wonderful to see! I felt such relief when that big last bit of matted hair came of. The detailed work looks great. I briefly worked as a dog grooming assistant. It was kind of you to do this for free!
My God. The hell these little animals go through. She's so beautiful. Those beautiful 👀eyes and those great eyelashes. She should be modeling for Cover Girl. Bless your precious heart for ridding her of that matted coat and all those fleas and ticks. She suffered that prison of misery in silence. Now she's freed and clean. Thank You. Great Job.
Thank you for your time to groom her. I wish I could see how she looks after a month or several months later. She is so well behaved, whoever adopt her is a lucky man
Vaya cambio !!!
ID HAVE GIVEN ALL the money in the world for him🥰👌‼️ even B4 they got him all fluffy n. Shorn 🙂. To me he was ALWAYS handsome beautiful LOVABLE. PS I'm not sure if you missed near the beginning of video The captions on screen ( just a little bit into the video) said a very kind man has adopted him 🙂👌‼️😃👍‼️: Thank God 🥰‼️ see 40 seconds into video✨🐶🙂
Thank you so much for taking such good care of this girl. You did such an amazing job, and you were so patient. I just hope she has a good bill of health knowing the fleas, possible heartworm, and from the ticks, lymes disease. Poor baby, but from watching this, she's in great hands now.
I am not particularly fond of doggrooming and don t know who this video was recommended by to me. But boy, how happy I am for People like you to exist and give back a life and respect to this bundle of love that needs protection. Where is your salon? Thumbs up !
