Worst Experience of LG AC 😱😰|| 1.5 Dual Inverter Split AC ||  

I want to share some important information about LG, Daikin, and other AC companies. It's crucial for AC technicians to perform nitrogen pressure testing and properly vacuum the AC system on split AC and HP units. The recommended process involves using a 150 psi nitrogen pressure stand followed by a 500 microns vacuum using a vacuum pump to remove moisture and non-condensable gases from the refrigeration system for a longer AC life. Unfortunately, some technicians skip these steps. Some use compressed air for pressure testing, while others use the same gas or refrigerant in the precharged condensing unit and then perform a self-vacuum, which is not ideal. Additionally, if the copper line set is over 15 ft, it requires a top-up as per the manufacturer's recommendation per foot ounces by weight. However, many technicians do not carry a vacuum pump, nitrogen, or weighing scale for a proper refrigerant charge. Recently, on March 30, 2024, I visited my nephew's house in Ashik Vihar, where two LG technicians replaced the condenser coil and charged Rs7000 for the replacement. They performed a self-vacuum as they did not have a vacuum pump, as it wasn't provided by the company. In another instance, my sister's LG refrigerator experienced cooling issues. The technician diagnosed a refrigerant/gas leak and charged Rs3500 for gas filling, with only a 3-month warranty. After subsequent visits and additional charges, the compressor needed replacement. Despite the warranty, my sister had to pay for the service charges or purchase a 2-year extended warranty. My sister later purchased a new LG hot & cold inverter technology heat pump, but the installer did not perform a pressure test or vacuum due to a lack of nitrogen and a vacuum pump. In conclusion, proper tonnage of the AC/Heat pump, accurate heat/cooling load calculation, and installation as per the manufacturer's instructions and local city code are crucial regardless of the brand. These steps are essential for the longevity and performance of the appliance.

LG 3 star 1.5 ton AC has less capacity. 4600 W in 2023 model and 4400 W in 2024 model. DO NOT BUY THREE STAR 1.5 ton LG AC. Buy 4 star or 5 star 1.5 ton LG AC, those have 5000 W capacity in 2024 models. I bought 2 ton 3 star LG 2024 AC, it has 6300W capacity, and it has very good cooling, specially for my 216 square feet top floor very hot room. Avoid three star 1.5 ton LG AC , rest of LG ACs are very good.

This is a true fact regarding LG AC, no doubt the service is very good but the cooling feature is really bad, they need to work upon this.

Never buy Ac with cooling capacity less than 5000 Watts ( for a 1.5 Ton Ac) If its less than this, Ac will struggle to cool for initial 15-20 mins depending on the heat load on that room. This happens mainly in May- june Months, & if your room has roof above & sidewalls are facing sun during day time- the AC will take more time.

I have an 2017 lg ac...its cooling capacity is 5200 w and was very satisfied with its cooling This year when i went buy 2nd ac for another room i went for daikin aftr looking at the size of its indoor unit.brands are making their indoor unit smaller and with lowert capacity to increase its efficiency. If you want cooling go for daikin or Panasonic,if on budget go for haier ,there are some models which are offering 5000+ cooling capacity

Bhai, woh service engineer ka kuchh fault nehi hai. Actually LG ka cooling capacity Kam hai. Specially 3 star mein to bahut hi kam hai. 3 star AC actually 1.3 ton ka, hai jo 1.5 ton category ka hai. LG Lena hai to 5 star lo, warna kuchh aur brand lo. 120 sqft room size mein yeh AC perfect hai. Mera bhi yeh AC hai, 140 sqft room mein har 1 degree temperature decrease hone mein 5 minute lag jata hai. Jisko 22-24 degree temperature chahiye woh Panasonic lo.

Mera bhi sama problm hai and uske saath after 7hr , cooling bhi bandh ho jati hain. Don't no keya karu. Lg service walo ne bola sob khch thik hain but problm solve nehi ho rahi hain. Consumer forum men complain karu keya?

Bilkul sahi bola apne, LG ki cooling weak hai. Mere pass voltas bhi wo LG se bahut acha cooling deta hai or same capacity ka hai but LG energy efficiency features ke naam pe customer ko bewakoof bana rahi hai.

Mera bhi lg ac aaya ladka bola installation karne aaya..... Tools hai.... Hath se ho jayega...jab tak proper tools na aana mat.... Vaccum pump, pressure gauge, ampere metre , pipe bend tool , spring, tape... Wall clips,etc...

I had the same issue with an LG AC. The problem was LG service center was using fake gas to top up for 3 meter extra copper pipe. The running pressure is supposed to be 150 psi and the running pressure was 210 psi. They were knowingly reporting the wrong psi to the company so their scam is not caught. The AC was not cooling at all and using full power. Over time the excess pressure would have caused gas leakage & compressure failure which is very profitable for service center. We reported the problem to the LG ASM but he closed the complaint to cover up.

Sir apka ac moisture le Chuka hai..... 1 hours vaccum hoga tab jakar ...uske baad new gas fill hogi according to pipe length... Or pipe line check kare kahi se bend to nahi.... blockages to nahi.... Mere pass lg ac 4 saalse no issue.... 3 to 5 degree ke sir deta hai.... Wet service karne ke Baad...... Yeh sab installation ka chakkar hai..... Ac kya hai koi Rocket science nahi hai... Compressor gas compress karta hai uska temperature increase hota hai...... Phir indoor mai gas temperature down ho jata hai or blower cold air circulate karta hai.....

your unit is having either leak issue or PCB issue. LG cooling is superb. Did you done vaccume at the time of installation ? Trust me LG is more good than Daikin I had one which I have given to servive centre for free....from 2019 every year some or other issue in Daikin. yea but its cooling is high then LG. but its good to have less issue product than from which is going in downtime every year.

LG AC is waste of time. Exactly same problems I faced with 5 days old AC and it was 5 star 1.5 ton. I was luck that I pressurized the dealer and pushed him very hard to take it back and they did it and returned me whole amount, than I bought Hitachi I’m which is world class with no problems

If someone need constant good cooling with nothing health issue keep trust on daikin or Hitachi those are good interns of cooling. Panasonic is also good Ogeneral and Mitsubishi cooling are better than daikin and Hitachi but service and electricity consumption is high. Hope this comment is helpful for others. Thanks

Purchase 1.5 t Panasonic 5 star offline Perfect working Installation with vacuum! Room on top direct sun on roof. But room getting child at temprature 26 Happy with Panasonic! Previously i have Hitachi 1.5 inverter 3 star. I used it for 5 years but very bad experience. Every season it had problem. Like pcb.gas.outdoor unit cutt off. Big tension.not proper cooling. Filled gas with vaccum but it never performed well.very bad experience for 5 years with Hitachi. Panasonic ac cooling is super. For safety i have purchased 3 year amc warranty. Naw 1+3=4year tension free 😁

Ish se bada room ke liye 1.5 ton 5 star chahiye. Cooling capacity watt mein dekhiye, ton mein nehi. LG 3 star 4400w, 5 Star ek 4600w aur ek 5000w ki milta hai. 5000w ki cooling wala LG ka AC badiya thanda dete hai.

Dont buy LG AC. They have worst service. My AC is under warranty and indoor unit water leaking. It has been one month I have generated multiple request but they are not coming home to repair. Once he came and told me that another expert guy will come and it has been 20 days no once came. then I generated multiple request on LG twitter and email id .. all they are not listening. Worst service.

I'm using Panasonic AC 4 star 1.5 ton . The cooling is so amazing i have to reduce the fan speed to minimum in just 2-3 minutes. Extremely good. Belive it or not,It super chills the room in near about 5 minutes!
