finally someone addressing how to dress your fabulous body with taste instead of theses influencers wearing anything because its in their size thank you
God bless dear, I broke up with my guy cus he was always body shaming me,I tried so hard trying to lose weight I ended up on a hospital bed.i gave up on myself now I'm married and he cherishes and values me just the way I am ,don't kill urself u are amazing just the way you are
Thank you for sharing this. I'm single but no man that I've ever been with has shamed my body. Its only been me. I've been tearing myself down even when I've lost the weight. I've constantly found something to tear myself apart about. I'm going to work on that starting TODAY. I appreciate the kind & loving words that you commented. There's always someone that can use the encouragement. 💙💙💙
As an anorexic in recovery I found myself going from size 6 (aus size) to a size 16-18 in the last 8 years. Adapting my wardrobe and learning how to dress for my body type has helped me feel a lot better. I caught a glimpse of me in a reflective glass window wearing a body con dress last week and it sent me spiraling into a depression. Thank you so much for your advice and guidance. I’ll be learning to dress my body type and be healthy, fit and strong vs starving myself and exercising trying to reach an unhealthy and unrealistic version of my old sick self. Bless ❤
Same happened to me. I’m depressed now and have been for exactly 1 month. I truly don’t like this weight but maybe if could learn how to dress I’ll feel better.
@@honeyisnatural5 I'm in the same place. I was never "small" to begin with but now have fibroids causing me to look 9 months pregnant and struggling with depression. I pray that we all will be able to beat depression and love ourselves and the people who genuinely love us. We need to recondition ourselves that what society deems as sexy / beautiful isn't real! It's fantasy resulting in the increase of plastic surgery, etc. So many women are literally dying trying to keep up with society's influencer s. We also need to stop judging others and focus more on being healthy- no matter the dress size. Blessings to all you beautiful women!
Great video. In this age of "always positive", it's nice to see someone address "dressing for your body type" and showing how fly you can make your flaws look.
i love this woman i am so self conscious of my body being over wieght and a tummy i struggle so much trying to look nice and sort my weight out thankyou for your comments
Thank you for the “you are worthy” talk towards the end♥️. This is the first time I’ve seen you nd your channel and I’m lifted by your content and positive message. Thank you.🥰
Wow, I just watched your video I want to say you brought me to tears at the end. I have my mother and other family members who say your fat, or you gained weight I really appreciate you and inspired me to dress and feel like a millionaire in the making. Blessings to you and I can’t wait to watch more of your videos. Thank you again for the encouragement, uplifting words
I wish you could know how much I look forward to your videos. I had commented on a previous one how I had been married for 26 years and I was not allowed to wear anything pretty or that fit. Watching your videos makes me feel like I've had a whole new world opened to me. Thank you for broadening my fashion choices.
I'm in my early 60's and I grew up learning that you dress to hide your flaws and accentuate your best parts. It is refreshing to see a young lady teaching this. 😍💯👍🏾
I can relate to this 100%!! I grew up feeling ashamed of my size and so I spent more than 35 years trying (or what I thought was hiding) my fat, most especially my belly. I'm turning 62 this July. I had zero confidence in myself for so many years!
You came in my feed, listened 2 seconds and subscribed lol. We still need to have women who influence wearing well fitted pieces and the proper undergarments. Keep up the good work!🌷❤️
I love this video so much! After 4 kids + diastasis I have no clue how to dress my body. I ordered some high waisted jeans after this. Hoping they help! Thank you!!! ❤️
Woooow thank you. You really made my day been struggling with my tummy especially having everyone in my family they look like models. Am worthy for my Queendom. Bless you
I think also a biig factor in how you look in a piece is your posture and confidence. If you look at her in the "bad" outfits, she is kinda hunching and not smiling at all. Then in the "good" outfits shes confident, straight up and smiling. It actually makes a huge difference and I think most of those first outfits would look as fine if you dont treat yourself worse in them :))
I FEEL HEARD, I FEEL SEEN THANK YOU!!! INSTANTLY SUBBED!!! ❤(I’m tired of influencers telling us to wear anything because of body positivity”, like what if I don’t feel like I look beautiful with the style
Thank you so much for this video. Between MENTALpause and recently finding out I have an under active thyroid, I have gained a lot of belly weight/fat. I pretty much was on point except for the "baggy dress". I live in those lol But, thanks to you, I now know better. I have subscribed to your channel 💛
Ha! Good to see someone else referring to it as the mentalpause! My consultant was checking over symptoms with me and flat out asked me if i'd come close to wanting to kill anyone 😂😂
at the age of 54 and dropping from 452lb to 210lb I have a very strange shape, a UK 16 top and 24 bottom. I have discovered peplum tops and shirred dresses which I am now learning to make myself and I feel great, better than I ever have. I've found my style and won't move from it now. I'm too old to look fashionable but still breathing so can look good. Thanks for reinforcing the lesson it has taken me 5 decades to learn. x
This is the first time I've seen your channel. Definitely one with an imperfect body and just now heading back to the gym after COVID. Thanks for delivering your message so positively, empathetically and encouragingly. New subscriber.
Omggg your inspirational words made me so teary-eyed. Thank you for the encouragement 💛!! I definitely needed these tips. I hate shopping because I'm too big for regular size stores and too small for plus size. I'm 5'3, 38/40DDD, (no hips😳😒), and a flat ass. Currently a size 14 or xl.
I learned clothes just have to skim your body and please look at the size tag before you buy new clothes .It's a must to try on before you decide to buy . Shops have all their own sizing and never the same in different shops .
Hello. Thank you so much for the tips in this video. Since I was little I always had a negative preoccupation with my tummy (hated it when I was younger, like and accept it much more now that I'm older and have more self esteem). I appreciate the simple tips you offer to help minimize or hide your tummy strategically be choosing and using the clothes we wanna wear rather than trying to stuff ourselves into these weird body casts that stretch (extremely uncomfortable choking-the-life-out-of-you body shaper undergarments). I use some of the tips to hide my tummy and it helps me feel good about wearing what I want to wear with confidence, instead of hating how my tummy looks and not want to get dressed at all. Keep spreading the helpful tips and the encouragement and positivity! Us people out here in the world need it. After watching you in this video for the first time, I'm now a subscriber. Thanks!
Clothing these days is not designed for hourglass shapes it's designed for pear shaped women as they represent 60% of the population. Hourglass shapes make up only 8% of the population and most people mislabel pear shape as hourglass shape when it's not. I can say this because I have an hourglass shape and shopping for clothing is a hot nightmare because nothing fits properly and everything is too baggy in the waste and makes me look so much larger than I am...
My birthday is coming up and I started freaking out because most of my clothing doesn’t fit me anymore. I live in my scrubs due to work, so I started to feel crappy about my weight gain. This is quite helpful and I NEED to start following influencers that look like me and are more my size. That tip was VERY helpful. Chance is, I’ll feel better when seeing someone style themselves similarly to my size. Thank you!💗
Your fashion tips are a lot more helpful than a few other channels I've seen. They showed women who didn't even look like they had any belly fat. Sort of like how retailers use skinny models to model garments that are suppose to be for plus sizes. ARG! I look like I'm 9 months pregnant. No kidding........ HELP! It's the all over big hard belly.
You just landed in my feed today and omg! Immediate like and subscribe. I loved your practical tips, the side by side comparisons, and your message of positivity! Keep up the great work!
WOW!!!!! The side by side makes it all real! So glad I came by and found you. Definitely a SuppleChicTV binge day! Also, your advice regarding tailoring is spot on! I do that all the time. My rear is big, so I get slacks that do not tug on my booty and then tailor them in the waist.
Those were some great tips! I've been an apple shape my whole life. Even when I'm thin, I have a tummy. I wear long-over-lean alot. You always look beautiful!
Bravo!!! applause applause yes our body size does not determine our value.. regardless of what some males will tell you. (and some women for that matter) my weight has gone up and down and up again and down again. I have just as much value to loved ones., my workplace and people I meet when it's up as when it's down. great video with lots of good tips.
Foopa? I got me a Foopa!! The doctor called it a panniculus, where the bottom of my belly makes a fold over. Thank you for your positive support ideas for fitting clothes on the body I have , instead of wishing for a body I don't have. Love your video!!
I am so glad I found you today. I find it so hard to feel good about my body. I actually hate the way I look. Very small bust but big belly, hips & bum!!! Cannot find a style which helps me to feel positive about myself. I have actually stopped enjoying clothes as all I ever wear is long loose T-shirts/tops & jeggings. Please please help 🥺😳 Also lost in the whole concept of colours. I am 53 year old Scottish lady who has lost her way. 💜
Love you Queen, thanks for reminding me to give myself some grace! I am my most critical of myself. So i rarely go out or shop. Because I get so frustrated
Super information! Thanks for all the tips and logic. I added at least 20 pounds during Covid and being older am having a real hard time losing it. And most of it is in my stomach! So I'll be using your knowledge when I go shopping this week for a dress or top to wear at my granddaughter's wedding!
Thanks for your much needed, good advice. However, and you may not agree, I would add that heavier set women normally do not look well in dresses above the knee. It cuts the line of the body at an unflattering point making the middle section appear even rounder. The below the knee clothes you showed were excellent and give a longer, leaner and more aesthetically pleasing look.
Good tips, wish more big girls would follow them. I want to poke my eyes out at the biker shorts, belly out tank tops these big girls are wearing in the summer.
You are an awesome ray of sunshine fabulousness! 💗 Thank you sooo much for sharing your clothing knowledge & your positivity towards all your fellow “ sisters “ You inspire all of us to walk head tall and feel perfect just the way we are. 🙏
Ok... Your bomb! 1st time watcher here and I have subscribed. I'm that in-between size (14-16) and I use all of these tips you gave BUT sometimes those cute lower rise jeans be tryin me n I act like this tummy ain't chunky!!😝
