Worst Food Fails

Someone's gonna eat the noodles that the light fell into and be like,"Woah, my noodles taste like cOlOrS!"

I have a few food fails that stick out in my mind: 1. I mixed up granulated sugar with powdered sugar when baking cookies (turned out cakey but fine) 2. I was baking red velvet cupcakes and overfilled the pan and the batter spilled all over the inside of the oven (this was in a college dorm kitchen too) 3. I was baking either muffins or cupcakes and stupidly reached to take out the pan with my BARE HANDS! Instantly dropped the pan onto the open oven door, broke the glass on the door and ruined my creations. :( 4. Just a few days ago made a cheesy pasta dinner, put it onto a paper plate rather than into a bowl or on a ceramic plate (still have no idea why) and just made it to the counter where half the pasta spilled over the edge and onto the counter. Saved my dinner somehow but man I think I misplaced my brain that day.

We need a cooking video with your older nephew and the baking talk with Ro!

The pan flip fails are mostly detachable handles that they activated while trying to do the flip.

Ro’s reaction to everything just makes us 10 times funnier

fun fact, at 10:48, when Ro is saying she doesnt know how she would clean the melted plastic off the element. i know how to do it, based off of experience :( those elements are detachable, so just pluck it out and put it in the freezer. once hard again. it should come right off

Hey, Ro. With that drink dispenser video, I've had this happen. Some glass dispensers are made that can't handle boiling water and will easily crack. I make southern style sweet tea every summer. I made it right in a dispenser my cousin got me, and it took us until the tea had flooded the counter to realize it had cracked and was leaking. Since, I make a sweet tea syrup (sun tea style) in a giant pickle jar, let it cool, then add cold water to the syrup.

My first roommate back in the house and 219 put a cutting board in the bottom of the oven and it melted from that one shelf and we’re down to one shelf because he put the cutting board in it. Lesson learned.

once when I was first learning how to cook. I was boiling some pasta. Then I went to drain it, well right when I picked up the pot, my hand twitched, and I spilt boiling water on my hand and foot. I wasn't bare foot. No, much worse, I had thick fleece socks on. I went to put my hand under cool water real fast. But the sock meant the burning water stayed on my foot longer than my hand. Whole top of my foot was a giant blister from the burn. Thankfully, only second-degree burn. Wear shoes in your kitchen.

I think the gallon jug that exploded was like a waffle or pancake batter. He probably shook it up to mix it, which causes it to build pressure. You need to unscrew the cap a little bit after about 30 seconds of shaking, initially, and then again every minute or so, to keep the pressure from building too much.
