I was really looking forward to trying this place - now, I just don't know (although their chicken tikka poutine intrigues me). It was a little funny to me, though... on a scale from 1 to 10, if I was eating at a place that rated a 7, that would be pretty good. Based on what you were saying about the blandness and overall disappointment, I would have expected you to say something like a 4 or maybe a 5, tops. Just average or "okay," but nothing great. But that's just me, I guess. LOL. Thanks for the Orlando food reviews. Keep 'em comin'!

I think in one of my most recent video I go over my ratings...so for me the top is 11/10, food is so good that it's outside of a normal rating scale. And for 11/10 I will go out of my way to visit or plan it into another video so I can visit again. 7/8/9/10 out of 10 I'll probably never eat there again in my life 99.9% sure. The issue in this video was that a lot of influencers visited and gave them raving reviews as if they were a 3 Michelin Star restaurant. I got fooled again by those chronic cappers! I really try to rate the places I visit very fairly and so my issue was that everything was way underseasoned. I feel that looking back or if I revisited I would probably score them the same overall 7/10...but if I remember correctly for individual items I went lower? I'll have to rewatch the video. 5/6/7 is still a very "mid" spot to visit based on my ratings. Anything lower is pure trash. The proteins, chicken/shrimp were well cooked, tender, nothing came out burnt or leathery, so everything was well cooked. I can't lie about that. The service was great, seating was plentiful and the food was served at a moderate amount of time. And like I mentioned, I go up to 11/10 if the food is really outstanding and surpasses my expectations, which in this case it didn't. The people need a Food Critic, I will never sell out for a $20 plate of food, I don't need free food. A lot of the influencers down here dislike my content because I'm fucking with their bread and butter. In my opinion it is unethical for a Food Critic to accept and receive free food. Also, I see some of them try to "rate" spots now with like a 8 or 9/10...in my opinion if you don't post all experiences, fully transparent with your audience, then you're still an influencer. And they also visit fast food spots to give them a "bad rating"....come on now, the world already knows that food is trash. Think of how many times you visited a food spot and had a bad experience with customer service or with the food. These people lie to their viewers for a free meal and I don't know how they go to sleep at night. If you want to experience this restaurant, you should still visit, they could have changed since my video. I don't give spots a 2nd chance, but that's something to consider in the future. I wouldn't definitely never visit a spot lower than an 11/10 a 3rd time though. 🤣 I'm just sharing my raw experience, not sugar coating anything.

@@HungryPolarBear I completely get your scale and reasoning behind the numbers now! And good for you for having ethics, for sure - a free meal given to a reviewer is a serious conflict of interest, and it should never happen. I still might try Eet someday for the chicken tikka poutine, since some friends said it was delicious, but probably nothing else (unless I get that dessert that you *did* like)! :) Thanks for your videos and your time, and I wish you success in your endeavors.

@@wedge1977 I didn't try the Poutine so it might be good! Thanks for stopping by and checking out the video! And if you stop by and you have a good experience let me know! You just might convince me to visit again! 🤣

I had pretty high expectations for this spot and they let me down hard. Ultimately, I can't recommend anything there.
