I have the same one only the buttons are on the top, I love mine and use it all the time. Call the company they might send you a new one, or maybe something needs to be cleaned. I absolutely love mine, I've had 3 different models and actually wore them out. I dry can all the time as well as freeze. Best investment ever.

Maybe if you had any kind of as to what in the hell you were doing, you might have some luck! Insert the bag with the curl facing down! And to get a seal, just press seal and insert the bag!

I think u have a paper jam . maybe u need to replace the toner cartridge. 😅 They say that the true stuff is the funniest, I got a great deal on one of these but a different style and brand, I asked the worker at the thrift store if we could test it and he couldn't get it to shred one piece of freaking paper no matter how hard he tried ! 😅😂🤣😭😁

Had mine 4y. Used tons w wide variety of bags. Does require a technique. But 100% reliable after that. Lead in slowly w one corner, straighten and your off.

With this model to seal one end of the bag… turn the machine on hit the seal button a light will turn red put the bag in the machine will detect the bag and seal the end. Did you try reading instructions?

I have that issue on my 12 year old model, fortunately I can open it and place the bag on the strip and close it back and it will seal. I'm looking for a model that has both, auto detect AND open it because I reuse the bags, and once the edge rolls you can't get it in there, so it's good if you can open it.

I have one that stop working. I cleaned it after use and one day it stop working. I called the company and they try to sell me a new one. This is one of the most expensive one.

I pull the lower tray out... lay the bag across the gasket and heat seal strip.. then close it back with the bag still in place.. curl of the bag side down.. it will operate.. good luck

Mine is the same! Have the same problem. Worked great for first 2 years then started acting up. And I have kept it maintained and clean

The red light shouldn’t be in unless it’s sealing or it’s got to much water 💦 in the tray.

You need to hit the seal button to make your bag then when you want to seal the food in you put it in until it catches!!!

I have same model...you have to press the seal button then put it in...if you just turn it on and its in vacuum mode and wont do anything with both ends open

Use two hands! Feed it in evenly, i have this model and zero problems. Use your brain

They all have a button for seal only . You’re probably using the wrong bags.

I been using the foodsaver brand for years. Your not doing it right. Once you put it in the slot it should have started vacuuming the air out the bag.what’s wrong with it automatically starting? It’s a petty complaint.

I love food savers, just not this model. If I had known this was going to be my most popular RU-vid video, I would have tried harder! I made it quickly just to release my frustration. I'm a middle-aged white girl who can do Rap God without missing a beat, but this is my RU-vid video that people watch... lame and funny 🤣
