I agree that once the run is posted and orders in for boxes it should be shipped in a timely manner. Insight on mystery boxes is good and customer service is definitely important how they follow up. Hope all is well and having a great weekend.
I say read reviews and research. Two companies I saw in this have nothing but positive reviews and even my experiences were nothing but positive. Overall good general advice.
Great video but using stock photos for an ad doesn’t always mean that a company isn’t reliable one ad that you used in the video is actually an amazing company to deal with and highly recommended I’ve personally have used them many times 🤷♂️
That’s true, however I’ve had issues in the past with companies refusing to post pictures of the grails they claimed to have. If you have the pop, why not show it off? I get stock photos look nicer but I think companies need to be honest
To even imply that a company isn’t being honest just because they don’t show it off is classless. The company you referenced in your intro shows stock photos for their email but also show the actual item in their Instagram. They now have a RU-vid channel where they show them off. Sounds like you had a falling out with someone who used to promote you all the time. SALTY
That’s good to hear that companies are changing their ways. Video was not intended to bash any company as I stated. I’ve been collecting for 9 years and have seen companies come and go. The ones that have stayed are the ones that are honest and up front with their customers.
Thanks for this video! When the pandemic hit last year, because of being home and not able to go out pop hunting I bought twice from an IG lady who was selling mystery boxes. I purchase two $20.00 mystery box and I pull from both of the boxes a $6.00 pop. Never again I bought from her or from anybody selling hit or miss or not value mystery boxes. She would use pictures as the one you showed in this video. I made me wonder if she really had those grail. I like to support the funko community, those who offers value and if I loose a few bucks is ok because I want to support.
I'm so sorry to hear about your experience Evelyn. We've had a few of those unfortunately. At least you only lost a few dollars, as it could have been much worse. Sticking to guaranteed value as compared to grail or fail is a great strategy. Thanks for watching 😀
omg u saved my butt lol I almost got a disney mystery box from a company that doesn't show anything but says 5 pops with guarantee chase but no pics do u know if any legit disney or ad icon mystery boxes cuz indo not collect anything else

Great tips and great video! I can think of a mystery box “company” that was very big for a bit fairly recently and then fell off. I fell into the hype and bought a high end box from them. They pretty much broke all of these rules and now it doesn’t appear that hey are around much anymore. It was a terrible experience for me and I wouldn’t want it to happen to anyone else
That generally happens with some companies. They pop up and there's lots of hype and then suddenly, you stop hearing about them and they disappear. I'm sorry to hear about your bad experience. Hopefully this information will help others not get scammed. Thanks for watching brother!
I'm a huge Peanuts fan. Love your shirt of course. I have on a grey sweatshirt with Snoopy on the front. Woodstock is on a sleeve and a large letter P on the other sleeve. P is my surname letter. Great idea for a video for information. I need as much of it as possible and you both seem very trustworthy. I'm assuming there are more recent videos like this but will have to look sometime. I procrastinate. The sad news is that I have zero Peanuts Funko Pops :( Just starting a collection of anything that I like really or feel I have to grab before they are too costly.

Thanks for the advice, damn many things to watch for. A big one for me - is cost of shipping. Not many mystery boxes available here, so i get when i can. Buying from the USA, shipping is expensive. I DONT buy mystery boxes from companies where RU-vidRS pull the grails MULTIPLE times because yes they are being pulled, but they are not being pulled by the normal people because the company is sending them to their RU-vid friends because of what you just said, "if youtubers are pulling them then they are legit cause you can see them being pulled" lmao they aren't legit because everyone else just gets the fillers and only you guys get the grails.
If a certain person is pulling grails from one paricular company over and over, yes it could mean they are friends. However, if you see multiple people pulling good pops from a company, then you can see their boxes are fair since different people are pulling the top hits. I agree with you that one person shouldn't be pulling the top hit every single time.

@@Slapshotpops obviously the company isn't going to give the same person the hit every time hahaha but they just give a youtuber like yourself that has been doing this for a while and has a good following and are friends the grails and they just pass them around every mystery box, so they just transition with youtubers, sad.

I had a question if you can do a RU-vid video about real holographic darth Vader vs fake a one I thought you mentioned it in one of your videos there is not much info on that pop so it would be awesome to know because I’m trying to buy one I was told there are 2 versions a 2013 version and a 2020 rerelease version is that true?
Hi Camerion, so there is no re-release version since it is a con pop from Dallas and Paris Comic Con. I have actually already filmed that video and will be dropping it next week sometime 😀 It's been my most requested real vs fake video to date so i'm excited to drop it for the community.
I would love to get into the mystery box game however I'm too picky about what I collect unfortunately I do not have a way to sell off or trade pops that are not for my collection
Hi Jorge, so I stopped buying from Chalice Collectibles two years ago. I ordered mystery boxes from 3 runs and got the same exact pop three times in a row. I gave them a shot but I don't recommend them. Especially since there are so many great companies out there 😀

Same here I bought 8 of their spring time mystery boxes in april because they allegedly support troops with the proceeds and still nothing and after 1 email theyve stopped responding to my other 5 ive sent them
One I recommend is Chrono Toys in El Monte CA. They have an IG and have great mystery boxes. Oh yea. Start watching game of thrones before the new show comes out.
