OP is not a hater of hailey, she simply is telling her viewers that this expensive product has changed consistency and shit and that it smells, aka it’s gone bad. She’s had this product for three months and she LIKED IT when she first bought it. No she’s not going to give an expired profuct away, she cut it open to see if there was any mold.
For the people saying she should give it to someone else, not only does she find the product itself disgusting, but she may find giving it to someone else disgusting too. It also may make her uncomfortable.

I personally loved the Rhode lip treatment and I didn’t experience any grains in my lip balm, it could be due to different environment/climate or maybe they fixed the formula.

I thought I was the only one who had grainy glosses. I have 4 of them and it happened to all of them. It feels like a gloss sugar scrub but it drys around your mouth to white specs. So you can't just throw it on and assume it looks good. Gotta mirror check esp the corners of the mouth. It's still usable though and no weird odors from mine. Still smelt and tasted like the flavors given.
I am once again convinced that crazy fans will always behave inappropriately, this applies not only to Selena, but also to Hayley. You may not like a cosmetics/clothing brand but still like/respect celebrities. The girl simply talked about her experience using this lip balm, which is a hype. She didn't say it was terrible, but that it wasn't very good for her. Not everyone is comfortable with product changes. No one is obligated to give you cosmetics because they didn’t like something. Snap up those lip balms, but don't bully people for their opinions. 😊
I was gifted one of these and I still don't get the hype. I have nothing against Justin Bieber, but his fans want it to be the greatest thing ever and get ofended when you don't buy into it, but honestly there are so many other lip treatments that have better quality and aren't that expensive.
Mine did not get grainy but literally the smell of it became so disgusting. But the smell wasn’t in the lip balm itself it was the application area that got smelly because after I wiped it with a wet tissue, it wasn’t smelly anymore. I still don’t appreciate the hassle just for my lip balm applicator to not stink so probably won’t buy these again
It's seems like a hype product? I have severely dry lips and Lucas Papaw ($10) and traditional vaseline ($3-5) work for me. For non-vaseline product, I use Avene Cilcafate ($18-25) and it’s amazing! Like many products (lotion, hair oil, etc) have to apply it once or twice a day.
I don’t think the lip treatment is bad or Rhode(the brand) is bad…the grainy things inside it might be the ones that actually treat your lips and Ariana Grande’s lip gloss(I like to call it gloss.) is some what same to it . Perhaps it’s old or expired that’s why it smells like that
i would think so. but when i first bought it, it was silky smooth. the lip balm changed textures after 3 months and started smelling. its def a batch and formula issue.

Yall stop with the comments saying "you just want attention" or "you hate hailey not the product". First of all she's not lying this actually happened to me the first time i bought it.
I can see where people are getting irritated, because of her cutting it up. But think about it, compared to more expensive lip balms, this is like 16 dollars, (which doesn’t make wasting ok, but you see my point.) so it’s not like she cut up the summer Fridays lip balm which is like 20 something dollars. She cut it open to check for mold or any bacteria’s that would cause the smell and grains. Hope this helps!
Rhode is good tho. I tried the peptide treatment and it was not smelly or grainy. Honestly you guys are acting as if selena is an inocent angel and hailey is a devil. Personally I think selena did have some faults so did hailey but you don't have to give hailey that amount of hate.

I have gone thru many tubes of this and it has never degraded. There is slight smell…love the watermelon the most! I love how it feels on the lips..bouncy. Love the staying power.
There is some lip treatments that have that grainy consistency, grande lip mask for example ..and it's made that way to do a subtle exfoliate along with treating the lips, and I just bought 1 and it had the grainy texture in it so its not because u bought it a yr ago it's like that new
if this was supposed to be grainy, it shouldve been advertised. i didnt buy a lip scrub. theres no reason a lip balm should change textures after 3 months

Hi Naomi. First off, I bought it. I will do whatever I want to do. Pressed? Your problem. Second, I bought it when it first came out. I used it but after 3 months, it turned grainy and smelled rotten.. So, I decided to discard it. Third, I cut it open to see if there was mold or any bacteria causing these issues. I posted it for education so other consumers can see that a $16 lip balm that is so popular, can turn nasty. Last, people are siding because they are ALSO experiencing these issues. A popular brand, like Rhode, should be acting on these problems that everyone else is also facing. The beauty of the internet is everyone will have a different opinion and experience. Good night 😊

The jelly bean one is amazing it’s sparkly soft , sticky and so good that if a kid bought it they’d eat it like we’d eat the candy/ fruit flavored chapsticks that were so popular when we were little lol 😂

the price point doesn’t seem reasonable for the product thats what I think . my friend gifted me one for my birthday and I don’t love it . I personally prefer summer Fridays . No hate to Haley though! I personally think that with some reformulating, this could be a great product !

I understand that you didn't like the lipbalm but destroying it on camera and posting it on the internet just didn't feel right for me. It can promote a trend of destroying products to get views and be edgy . We already have a ton of influencers promoting over consumerism which is leading to ron of pollution . So please next time state ur opinion but refrain from destroying the product on camera . It may be insignificant to you but can lead to a largwr problem.
