Theres been this drop I've been looking at for quite sometime and I knew it was only a matter of time before the construction took away the chance of ever doing it, Ended up taking the worst slams I've had on a mountain bike. Heres my point of view of what went down trying to pull the drop.

parsa daneshvaran that and I think there was mounds of dirt at the bottom of the slope and his front suspension couldn't rebound quick enough for the second impact of the mound meaning he went over the bars

He kept landing perfectly, it's just crappy terrain so the tires kept washing out causing crashes. Very good at landing a drop at .5 mph from a track stand!

If it was a simple dropoff (without the twist) it wouldn't be an issue. Also the landing terrain is poor, you slipped just walking on it...Serious respect for the bravery & persistence though!

I find it interesting how you mentioned your deja vu experience right after your first crash. I was in an atv accident that I'm lucky to have lived through and experienced the most intense feeling of deja vu right after the crash that I've ever had.

I wanted to try a drop in off a wall similar to this when i was in college. Never did as i envisioned this as the possibility. Not as high up as yours with a lot more ledge to spring off. this verifies that i made a good decision. Props for doing it again to try and conquer.

Dylan that 1st crash you were VERY lucky man..That's how Scotty Cranmer broke his neck by going OTB hitting a rut..I ALSO broke my neck but yrs before in '00 and am STILL fucked from it and always will be. Luckily my $600 Fox Helmet saved my life as well.

I've been through drops like this before back in my DH days it does not work by dropping in straight you have to drop in an angle.

He must of had concussions from the first one cos if you could not hit the landing from the second bay why not go to the third bay? (A little tip if your going do this drop put something like a red rag where you want to land you will have a focal point to aim for.)
