Hello bford I am from INDIA I know we suck in football being the 2nd most populated country in the world. But here in India most parents don't support u if u want to become a sports man other than a cricketer they just say THERE IS NO SCOPE OF FOOTBALL IN INDIA so don't become a footballer 50 percent of Indian kids are forced to take the profession their parents want them to take. That's why we SUCK at football .
And can we just talk about how corrupt our country's association is🙂 AIFF is so corrupted and don't even put money in infrastructure and grass roots development and our coach, Lord Stimac is a fkin criminal in Croatia who doesn't know anything about managing, and brought top teams down in his career including the Croatian National team even with the likes of Modric
we are a developing country, trust me its not the fault of parents. a lot of people can't afford to take the risk of trying to become a footballer because even the top paid players aren't paid that much. so basically becoming a footballer in India is only for the extremely rich or the poor ones who have nothing to lose.
Actually, in India cricket is more common than football, and our national sports is hockey so most people not interested in playing football, but still some youngster are coming for football, 2-3 years India national team will rise
@@Himanshu_Doi when team will perform he will surely play at higher level he is already 39 and giving his best . U just portraying india as good as European teams but india is not india is playing at their level and doing good qualified for Asia cup too
@@Huzaifa_salafi shut up girl he is almost 39 now and played just few matches in international level then too with low level players it’s obvious foreigners who had trained with great players will play better atleast he is trying to boost competition in indian and promoting football and encouraging teens
I'm a Indian and I have to say there are a lot of potential players I know that are from India that maybe can even win cups. Its just the AIFF {All India Football Federation} is not giving proper facility for players saying: the AIFF not giving enough attention to football. LOVE BFORD
As an Indian I can't disagree with the fact that the current indian national football team is bad but the youth and youngsters here have so much potential and finally these youngsters are getting opportunities by trials, scout projects, and academics from different big European clubs and in the next 15-20 the condition of Indian football is gonna be much better
As an Indian, I can give reason why we suck at football. Our country promotes cricket more than football. Not enough platform to be good enough Love the energy bford
@@blazer1069 No bro there was a friendly against Bahrain yesterday which was not telecasted in TV here neither on any online platform some of the Indians fans watched it on Bahrain's youtube channel as they were showing it live.
India has taken our national football as a serious business a few years ago. Before that everybody was focused on cricket. And everybody knows that india is top in cricket. In future our football team will also be great🇮🇳
To put its into context, india have a population of 1.38 billion. Longford town have a population of around 10K! 138,000 times more people in India than in Longford. I'm Irish and I've seen Longford Town play in person against my favourite Irish team Cork City. We beat them 2-0 in the second division of irish football
All u need to know about Indian Football is that Sunil Chhetri is the GOAT 🐐 Gurpreet (GK) is the next decent player who has the expirence of playing in the Europa League. players like Liston Colaco and Brandon Fernandes are also decent and upcoming stars. But mostly our NT is terrible and is carried out but Sunil Chhetri for the last 10+ years alone.
Yeah as an Indian I totally agree that India sucks in Football, It needs time! But if we support the Indian football team , it might have a potential to become the greatest team !😉
Because our grass roots is non existent and thanks to cricket, most sport players just deviate towards the game that has better infra and support. It's actually the same in most career choices here in India.
Random thingy (not really a Fun fact and don't know what to call it): Once in an earlier FIFA I randomly played a Bolivia-India match in Kick Off. I won 3-1 with Bolivia. India's keeper (Singh Sandhu) is 203 cms tall, and at the 3rd Goal I still chipped him
I am Indian and I love to watch your videos One thing I want to remind you that Sunil chhetri of India is the third highest scorer with 80 goals tally which is same as Messi
hi bford im from indian. and our best player is sunil chhetri, i think he broke a messi record and is now second for goals on national level behind cr7. the reason why india sucks in football is that 90 percent of the population is obsessed with cricket forr some reason
@@m2kspichu144 buddy not anymore. You could say this a ten years ago but not anymore. We are already pretty good especially under 23 players are almost equivalent to a fifa rank 70 team And seeing the progress our under 15 might be equivalent to a fifa rank under 50. Note : We defeated Argentina Under 17 team last year something...so you can see our future
@@8BitGamerYT1 Probably true that San Marino aren't better than India, but they're better than some teams, like some of the island nations in Concacaf and Oceania.
Sunil chettri is the GOAT and Indian team is decent. Isl is progressing day by day which is benefitting the youngsters. It doesn't not deserve to be the worst national team in the game! Bford good content! U can also do some research about Indian team
Sunil Chettri is the best player in India. Love your videos bro love from India ❤️🇮🇳. Bro India plays very good in football but India is not representing in the fifa world cup I mean we are not qualifying.
The fact that he started his sentence saying india has 1.38 billion people and can't have a good football team that in itself showed his stupidity. If your country has a good footballing infrastructure and a proper foundation only then can you rise. Since India formed ISL we have been on the rise which shows you need a foundation. You can have 1000 talented players but if you don't have a forum or a common organization they'll be 1000 random people living in a country
haha, loved the results! IRL we need more exposure ( as much as cricket gets ) and it has to be done both from the spectators' and governments' end. One day we will be in FIFA ( you never know we might start an IFL like IPL ) 🙃
IRL ka full form bhi jaanta hai, phate condom ki paidaish? IPL jaise football league hum shuru kar chuke hain 8 saal pehle. Indian Super League naam hai uska. Down syndrome nahi hota toh paper mein padhta tu yeh.
As a person from Longford. Longford is extremely small and compared to other teams in the country it hasn't got the funds. It's a team that whenever there is talent they go to a better team than stay as better opportunities come from other teams
we just dont have good scouting and parents dosent prefer their children to go for a sport which is already were bad in. If the scouting is good, we would possibly have the best players in the world. Hopefully in coming years!!
The sad thing is that in India most of the population support cricket but we have some great talent. The main problem in India is it does not have a great sporting infrastructure. I wish that I could have been selected for the under 18 squad
@@thewizard2284 pathetic joke okay. Just say what is entertaining in football. Of 90 minutes 80 minutes there is nothing happening. In cricket there is something happening every ball
@@zayaansays6820 cricket is boring and overhyped , only about 10 countries play it , wheres 200 countries play football . Its just a shit version of baseball imo. No one even bothers to watch them so they pulled down the format from test to one-day and now t-20 . Football always reigned supreme and will remain so
As an Indian, I just wanna say that football is not at all appreciated in India, everyone just roots for cricket. Ya there are millions of fans of football in India but of European football and not Indian football, I do watch a lot of the Indian Super League( India's biggest football league) and I've actually played for a state in that league in the under 14 team so I do have a little knowledge about Indian football and I have to say, the support isn't that much and I remember that one of my opponent teams had a God level player who literally went through all of the defence of our team and scored 6 goals and we only scored 3 but that guy didn't get to play further because of the "PRESSURE IN STUDIES". This might be a long comment but ya just wanted to share this. And if you're wondering about me so I also had to stop playing with the team just for studies again. But I still have some contacts with the coach and he says that I'm free to join whenever I want but my parents would not allow me so I just have to wait I guess
Football is growing in India faster Out of 1.5 billion population only 25 millions are football fans and 90% of total population are cricket fans. I am sure India can win world cup before starting of 2100 year.
Nationality: India Dream: All these dreams Rule World, Be a footballer, make India super rich My message to you: See you after completing all these dreams
India really hasn't focused in football that much. But it's changing, prolly gonna be at world cup in near future.Might be an overstatement but if everything goes well it could happen.
We're waiting for our glory back . Few decades back we played in Olympics win matches Qulified for world cup winning gold at Asia cup . We're going to regain that glory
Invest in what? If you want to reach the big stage then money wont buy you that. Look at how strong African teams are and see Pele's background when he was a child. They didnt have special treatment or good facilities yet they are strong.
All these India fans celebrating that they beat a European team. Meanwhile my reaction to the team I support losing to the worst national team in fifa: 🙃
The makers of Fifa also know that not including India in their game will have low engagement rate as India has more players than other countries.. This is why the country whose rank is 100+ is included in the game rather than the teams who are below in rankings. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ This is India and its Power. ❤️❤️❤️
At least India is on FIFA! and it's so good to play as India and beat other countries in the game. Well, Why India is not good at football? It's cause only sport that gains traction in India is cricket and India is quite good at it and other sports like football comes in minority, well the main problem why we don't have good players is because it's very hard to scout for good players in India as sports is not treated as a safe career it's very hard to make your name in sports and that's why a lot of young kids lose their interest in it.
The reason is our leagues. Our players play competitive games for a max 6 months ( ISL) and our second division is only 2 months long. That's a huge gap in performance as our players are not active for half a season.
