I’m literally 13 and I don’t understand what half of these new fangled words mean, or why doing the most basic shit is somehow offensive. There are literally people on Twitter spreading misinformation about the word femboy, claiming that it originated as a transphobic slur and in pornography, when that couldn’t be further from the truth, some of them even put up trigger warnings for the word, saying shit like “//TW: fb slur, transmisogyny” so I’d quote tweet them jokingly saying “//TW: stupidity”.

6:36 This absolutely traumatized me. I must have only seen it for three seconds but I remember every detail of it as if I had spent a year staring at it, studying it. The font... The backround... The words "Ok so if i put this on the screen" ring through my brain. Its been ten years. After therapy I have gotten better, but I'm still not over it. I was born in 2010 but I feel like I'm with the older group because both of my older brothers are in that older group (2001 and 2006) and my parents only gave me hand-me-downs and other things that my brothers had - a lot of the time I had worse things because I was younger. They also thought me the same way and treated me the same way, and often I would get the same punishments because I always felt bad and guilty lying about my brothers - especially in cartoons when characters I liked or sometimes didn't even like got humiliated I felt really bad and it made me think about it so I never lied about my brother doing something I did (maybe a couple times cause I was a dum little baby boo hoo child, but everyone probably did or has done that before) Edit: I really feel bad for all of Gen-Z because all of their lazy parents that didn't even want to do the parenting and just let them do whatever the hell they wanted with no consequences.

I had to actually question if this was real and then I remembered I know people like this irl at my school. I really can't put into words how much this angers and disappoints me that people act like this.

I feel like videos like this make Gen Z out as worse than it is, the people who do this aren't "Gen Z", they're mentally ill. Alternatively, click read more I feel like there's a similar phenomenon with cancel culture. Cancel culture is a very small minority of people who are very loud. Barely anyone actually thinks like this, but the media reports it as if everyone does it because it's crazy sounding and gets clicks. The video title "People are being nice to this youtuber like normal people" wouldn't really get as many clicks as "People are CANCELLING this youtuber for BEING MALE." Only a tiny sliver of people actually think like that, and giving them the time of day only makes things worse. This emergent property is kind of inevitable in any system where more attention is profitable in some way. Naturally, more extreme and outlandish articles, videos etc will get more interest than ones that actually reflect the real world. Therefore, it's in the best interest of any news outlet, tv channel and yes, *commentary channels too* to cover the most drastic, crazy things, even if they're small and ultimately insignificant. The same property surprisingly affects other qualities in the internet, such as unrealistic weight loss programs or crazy nutrition diets. More crazy. More clicks. By the way, no hate towards Acheeto, a lot of his stuff is good, and I mean you have to make a living somehow.
