If something is off, you should notify them immediately for a room swap. Things that are apparent, like bathroom and bedsheets etc can be seen straight away.

I'm sorry that you had to go through this my friend! This is not nice @ all, because the Afghani peoples by far & wide, are very honest, respectful, hospitable, good & polite peoples. Regardless of this situation, i wish you only positive travel experiences ahead, within Afghanistan & abroad, always shrouded by acceptance, love & peace.

I've been in some hotels in the USA for about $60 (I think, my dad paid). The hotel here seems 5 stars in comparison to those expensive yet extremely small hotel rooms. Yeah, the bathroom could have been cleaner and the sheets new, but I don't think they get too many guests there. Probably why it was in that condition.

I have lived in Jalalabad and love the people and the city but it makes me angry that you destroy the image of such a beautiful city for like 15 dollar, if you cant afford to travel dont, but dont ruin the image of a beautiful city for some dollars. 3 beds for 40 dollar and you are complaining, "worst place in Afghanistan" do you even know how much negative this will affect their business in a already economical crisses. People need to refer to Wandering Emma's video on this Jallabad trip regarding the Guide. The Afghan guide was a flim-flam carnie. He tried to double his prices for every thing. Accused them of not paying. Threatened both Black Man and Emma by saying he was going to report them to the Taliban as spies.

I'm from jalalabad. Actually Jalalabad is small city and doesn't has something historical or modern for tourists to visit. this city is just for trading. White House hotel is really only one hotel in jalalabad for foreigners, there is no hotel other than this. Because tourists don't come here to build hotels for and a big challenge is security.

I am from Jalalabad, and this is the worst hotel in the city. If you could go inside the city there are nice and cheaper hotels. I am sorry that you had a bad experience in my city but believe me this hotel is a very bad hotel I wish you didn't select this one.

In some parts of the world people pay $70 a night during peak times for just a bed in a back packer's dormitory and a spacious room in hotel can cost $400 a night or lots more , it appears that that hotel had a better past and because of lack of tourists it has become a little run down . Sometimes stains occur on a bath tube surface even though it has been totally cleaned due to rust in the bath tube . In countries or cities where there is a large amount of tourists , the hotels can be excellent for very reasonable prices for example in Thailand or Bali and in many African countries although the economy is fairly poor , the hotels can be very expensive due to lack of supply. I don't think $40 for a spacious hotel room with three large beds in the room is very high although in this case , the hotel needs to attend to the bath room area to make it more presentable and to do some more updates to the room but because of lack of tourists it makes it harder to spend money if it is not flowing through .

Looks likes 5 star without swimming pool I stayed in hotel in every country in eu minimum price is here 70€ the worst hotel cost 70€ and 4 star like this same but not with big restaurant or outside area or big like this and there is not so many hotels so. I think is good price good hotel

If you have a business whether it is a hotel or anything else ,no matter where you live in this world,the customer comes first.Put the customer first not yourself if your the person who runs the business your business will be successful.My Aunt and Uncle own a hotel and it is extremely successful because they put the customer first.My family will put Blackman the Traveller first if he came to their hotel .

The poor state of rooms is probably because of the lack of effort they've been putting into hospitality since yk there haven't been many tourists in the past year and a half, but that doesn't excuse the horrendously dirty room! Ive seen other RU-vidrs who haven't really complained about their rooms, should've haggled that price a little bit more.

I pay in Paris 120 euros for à night the dirtiest room i ever sleep . The sheet have was yellow spots. The tv was not working there was a big hole in the wall . So went to reception with my friend i ask for another room the lady told us if we are not happy so we can leave . Even if in Paris you can have problem with hotel the most visited in Europe . As afghan i can feel bad for hime bcs he pay money to stay in room. It takes 5 to clean toilette and 5 bed sheets . Its kind of embarrassing anyway but over all hôtel is nice and beautiful

Just a view point i've been watching hes videos, and im from America, he haggles and almost doesnt eat anything, most of the things he get tiny bits to eat for free, this is a great example to get in trouble, if you cant afford dont go man, or you will ended up in trouble, like you almost did there.

As some of the other comments have suggested, if you wanted to have a room in the BEST 5* hotel, you should've not gone to a war torn country. Be realistic in your expectations.

You really shouldn't travel when you are struggling financially. It's really taking away from the experience for you and the viewers. Your interaction is beginning to come off quite rude and a little entitled. $40 is a great deal, the staff seems professional and accommodating, and you get breakfast. You are really making their job impossible to take care of you as a guest. You will make a huge deal out of even the smallest things just for your "discount". I'm literally embarrassed for you and the way your acting. You should relax a bit and take the experience knowing where you are as a guest. Calm a bit and take in the experience. I have struggled with ADHD and it seems like you might be the same. The key is to slow yourself down and pay attention to the moments. You get distracted so easily when having conversations. Just slow down, experience the seconds and minutes instead of hours and days. Actually meet the people, actually remember their names, learn new words.. this opportunity is amazing and you are just blasting through it instead of experiencing and taking it in. I'm loving what I've seen from the people in Pakistan and Afghanistan. It seems they love to host and care for the guests in their countries. Very hospitable and curious people. I hope to visit one day.

Bro stop complaining about 40 dollars. Be happy that you are supporting afghans business and help afghan economy. The hotel owner probably becomes guests only 2 or 3 times in a month. He has to pay for electricity which is very expensive in Afghanistan because they import the electricity. He has to pay for Gas which is needed so you can have hot water in the shower. Gas is also expensive in Afghanistan because they import it. He has to pay the staff. He has to pay for groceries to cook you a nice food. He has to pay for internet which is again expensive. The internet service isn't fast and it's also expensive and having wifi count as a kind of luxurious thing. You got 2 meals 1 for dinner and 1 for breakfast and afghan meal isn't like EU or US where they serve you a tiny bit of food on a plate and name it some crazy French thing. Afghans meal are big and full of energy, not everyone can even finish one afghan meal. And for all this things you paid 40 dollars which isn't clear if you paid the full price or you negotiate the price and paid maybe 75% or half of it. I understand that the bathroom wasn't clean but calling the whole hotel the most horrible place to stay is wrong. I hope you don't get mad, i love your personality and your videos but sometimes you have to think deeper about what you want to say. I’m congratulating you on your courage for visiting a war torn country. The lack of education combined with the lack of resources has crippled an already fragile land. The few buildings and hotels are landmarks of an attempt of rebuilding against all odds. Although I completely sympathize with you, the conditions of the hotel are not good as per modern countries standards. But as for the resources they have available, it’s manageable. The rate may be high due to the fact that they really have no guests.. so they may be trying to take advantage of the “one guest” that they have.. but at the end of the day.. count it as charity. Hotels in Eastern countries are a literal coin toss In Pakistan its the same. Some are expensive but horrendous. Some are cheaper but way better - signature Hotel in Islamabad for example. Cheap..but very modern. One in another city was terrible..but cost more. So price and equality don't always equate. Same with food. Sometimes best accommodating hotels have crap food. Thankfully mine was good in all areas also cheap. But sometimes terrible hotels for living/design can have the best food. There's no correlation it's tossing coins.

What you need to do is repent (In humility, acknowledge your sin before God and turn to a relationship with Him) and trust ALONE in Jesus Christ and His work on the cross; and God will grant you the gift of the Holy Spirit. Then be baptised. When you place your trust in Jesus - the Lord and Saviour - these things will happen: 1) God will forgive the sins that you have committed; they were paid for by Jesus at the cross. 2) The perfect life that Jesus lived will be credited to you. He will find you holy and blameless on judgement day (and now), as Christ’s righteousness covers you. 3) You receive a place in Christ’s kingdom as an adopted child of God. God becomes your Father. Eternal life isn’t just about living forever, but a personal relationship with God Himself. That life can start now; The Father will reveal Himself to you if you seek Him. 4) God doesn’t just save you from the penalty of your sin (H***). He can save you from the power of sin itself. Whoever practices sin is a slave of sin; but when you repent and believe the gospel [WHICH HAS BEEN DESCRIBED] the Holy Spirit comes to dwell in you and sanctify you (working in you to further abandon sin and turn to the will of God). When the end of the age comes, and eternity begins, this work will be brought to completion as you are finally freed from the presence of sin. Jesus offers to take away your sin and to give you His righteousness; you must receive it by faith. Choose this day if you will align with the world, or with Jesus and His kingdom - only His is eternal.
