Some of these are honestly bad plays, like the missed field goals, the dropped catches and so on. But I think for a lot of the other ones, especially, the blocked kicks and the takeaways, it is less a horrible play by one side and more a stunning play by the other.

For it to be a safety, the ball has to go into the end zone, brought back into the field of play, then back into the end zone again, and the ball carrier is tackled in the end zone. Or, the ball carrier goes into the end zone from the field of play and is tackled or goes out of bounds; like what Jimmy G did.
