Hey Everyone! Welcome back to Thunder RC! The all new Kraken Vesla had on of the worst crashes I have ever seen in the 5th scale rc world! I am amazed at how well this big massive rc car took this crash! Only snapped the front a arm! I took the truck back to my shop and fixed the arm with baking soda and super glue! Then the truck ran perfectly again! Kraken RC did a fine job with the design and key features to make this one of the best big scale rc cars you can buy! Enjoy!

Wow didn't know about the baking soda trick... I actually thought the damage would have been worse bro... I'd be happy at that considering the weight of that RC. yes, the damage was very little considering the crash! ⚡💥🚀💥you must have an amazing hobby shop in Houston. Ours in Corpus doesn't carry much in the store. I did order the XRT from the Victoria shop. Hope you are doing good ✌🏼👍🏼💪⚡💯

Great vid bro! If you haven't tried them already may I suggest giving the loctite super glue a go. After years of breakages and probably dozens of different glues I can honestly say loctite406 has been the ONLY glue that has held together a arms and hub carriers after repair (sometimes within 5 minutes of gluing) it is also the only glue I've found that will hold a tyre (yes tire) together and not end up failing.

Thanks bro for the superglue and baking soda never thought of using baking soda just broke a lower control arm on my UDR going to switch to aluminum next, but seems like it’s working for now. I just got the cen reeper and it's my first big scale RC truck. I'm usually just driving 1/8 buggies and 1/10 short course trucks but bigger scale trucks just drive completely different. I would love to have a Kraken RC, but I can't afford one. I'm definitely going to have to try out the super glue and baking soda on my sc10 I broke the arm on at Thorn Hill racing circuit.

lol yep super glue and baking soda,, repaired a A arm on a kyosho ultima turbo , broke the same way in 1989 ? still going strong got a new A arm but it hasn't broke.. also plastic welding too works great but need same exact aka plastic to weld with.

@@thunderrc yep im old raced rc 86 thru 93 kyosho, NE, 97 to 2000 SE . Hpi nitro. Still run my vintage kyosho Optima 's everything was kits back then , no esc till 88 ish . Rc has come a long way, got into tbe hobby in 1974. Enjoy your vids man keep it up.

my buddy at Eastside RC told me about it. it basically makes it dry faster and seals better. Honestly I don't know exactly what it does, but it works!

I spray my cars down with a ton of oil after every run to prevent rust. I wear gloves to keep my hands clean and so ai wont get the camera dirty.
