It's called tough shot. Same as worst shot, but like you said once the disc is in the basket the hole is over.

I’ve always played worst shot the traditional way. Every time I play it this way, somebody on the other team just keeps draining 50-60 foot putts and just ruins the game haha

You guys should do a "shortest throw" challenge. Instead of the worst shot you take the one that gained the least amount of distance toward the basket (use a range finder). This means if Hunter, for example, throws his drive 200 ft and it kicks off a tree 70 feet left. Trevor could try throw a 170 ft shot into the middle of the fairway. While Hunter's is much worse, Trevor didn't make it as far. So you take Trevor's. If Trevor accidentally throws further than hunter on his layup, you re stuck with Hunters. Feels like a more forgiving version of Worst shot and creates new strategy options.

You all should try again, with the line at +4.5. Worst shot format with Brodie and (Hunter + Trevor best shot). Basically, throw away the worse Bogey Bro shot and then take the worse of the two remaining shots.

Totally agree with Brodie on the self-policing of the rules. I was in a tournament where one of the players took WAY too long to prepare for every shot. Our card was constantly holding up following cards. BUT we were all putting together stellar rounds. I knew if I even mentioned speeding up it'd change the entire dynamic of the card due to the nature of the player in question. Plus it would adversely affect our play so I just sucked it up and rolled with it. 3rd party policing would be much better for not impacting good rounds and keeping pettiness out of the game.

On hole 2, Hunter had a good strategy if the opposite team is selecting what is the worst shot. Some teams will think distance is the hardest aspect and not always account for angle and footing.

Seems like perfect strategy is to just do what it takes to better the first shot without making it worse. Goinng for your normal shot isnt necessarily optimal for these rules. ex First guy hits a tree early? next 2 shots should be make sure you just clear that tree. Going for a normal shot makes no snes. (more fun for sure but no need to take the rish of going OB for example.
