Can you also add few inputs about the service based companies. I know you talk about big product based companies and I've recently discovered the channel and following you ever since. I am a fresher in a Mass recruiter company, it's been 6 months, I along with many have not got any project. I've been working on my skills from the beginning. How could it impact us? Any clue?
@@randomlyswatching9481 as she said.. layoffs are more into management/non technical roles.. these companies who are layingoff also donot mention in which dept. the layoff happens. pushing everyone into panic mode.
@@AyushMishra-gk7dt The company you are in Accenture or IBM I believe, hopefully start saving money , secondly start learning a niche technology and keep your linkedin updated !!
Bro I am having 20 plus offers in data engineering profile. It is simple don't join service based company mainly from us or uk. Always look for product based company,
Bhai ache se L lagne Wale h ,Jo bande 2-3 yr experience or bahar 1-2 skill set Sikh kr 15-20 CTC maag rhe the jb demand supply ka issue tha ,ab dekhna sb ke sb 7-8pr settle hoge .corona ke time industry and govt digitalization pr gyi and that time sudden lot of project came to industry ,due to lockdown nd all company ko nyi manpower ko training ni de ski .now scenario change project started reducing ,also lot of supply even arts commerce student learning it skillset ready for big salary cut nd mass layoff. Salary also settle down precovid industry average .
I think the layoffs are not only because of the recession, if because of recession why only IT is so impacted this is majorly because of the mindless packages, even fresher are asking the 15 to 20lacks
What a pity even freshers are more competent than you. These are talented hardworking young people and they totally deserve your "mindless packages" unlike you good for nothing, jealous of their success.
Your comments shows the immaturity and no idea about how management thinks, they are giving good salary not only because of your skills 🤣🤣🤣. and still most of the startups are not in profits, and investors want secure their money.
Guys from Andhra Pradesh have taken the IT industry for a ride. Lot of fake profiles. Mannn...you are getting every single fake document in Ameerpet. This has become a menace in IT industry. Real deserving candidates are affected.
This is a much-needed session. Thanks a lot, Shashank for doing this podcast. Adding 1 more point from the geopolitical perspective, if Saudi joins BRICS and Russia and China stop using the USD for oil trading, the US economy might affect even further. But that's a long-term perspective.
If you work even for a recession proof company, during this time...they will offload lot of work on you. That will add on to the stress.See it's simple. If you do not have any financial commitment, just quit the job yourself and hone your skills. Use the break to upskill.
Job seekers and jobs irrespective of which sector is always insecure now and in future, therefore those who do tailor made jobs in IT sector without value addition are always under threat. Moreover it seems anchor is more concerned in spreading his courses
RU-vid recommended me this video. Don’t know why. Advice to you : reduce your question length. Most of your questions are understood within the first two sentences but you seem to go on explaining the question.
Layoffs lasting only till Q1'23 will be a very optimistic scenario. I wouldn't be surprised if the layoffs extended till Q1/Q2 - Q4 given the global economic scenario and expected trajectory. There is no visible certain growth trajectory visible to any economists i know of.
All major IT companies profit results are increasing every quarter..i dont sense any recession..we have shortage of resources in every project.. finding difficult to hire...all this recession are just myth
No such recession in India..Most of the global companies are opening captive centers in Bangalore, Chennai and Hyderabad so that they can use the resource pool available in these cities. Every project is looking for resources to support, but they are not finding. Then where is the recession? All lies as far Indian IT is concerned
Whatever but the recruiters are finding it difficult to get candidates in any stream. Be it IT or Non IT. Every company wants candidates who can immediately and now all the companies are revising it to 3 months NP
Thanks for this much needed insight... I think it could be a bit more nuanced next time... Maybe you could provide some info on below points 1) I know there is a hysteria regarding the layoffs but would like to know the avg no. of layoffs that these companies do on a yearly/quarterly basis vs the layoffs done this time. 2) How strong/resilient the tech job market will be in India in 2023-24.(in the context of a serious decline in working age population in US and with a lot of baby boomers retiring after the covid)
Baap sahi bolte thee thoda padh lo koi accha exam nikaal lo but ye IT ki Glamour me kho kr reh gye ...! Koi pooche kaha job krte ho IT me bss isse aage koi ghanta nhi phuchta :D
Iam from non-IT candidate, Now only Iam going to start doing course in data Engineering for search job in good company. Is it possible to get job in five months?? due to current situation. Please tell suggestion for newly entering candidate to this field like me in your next video or in comment
It's hard if you don't have any prior experience. Start as python / T-sql developer first I would suggest . Because there many technologies which requires time and practice which is difficult to complete it in 5 months.
There is saying where there is rise there is fall over that Technology became Auto means for example where in one project 10 people working now in future they need 2 people the trend will be changing. This is very sad news for immigrants it looks like it will be not the same in the US. I think all Indian who are going abroad stay in India and make India great.
It's because of very very low internet price or internet from jio ,Airtel , Vodafone .wait when there will be no very very low internet price .wait for little hike in price .you will see mass layoffs in India also.

Most of the government sector companies are getting privatized .... Also today's generation is impatient to go through hustle of govt jobs where u getting good paid after probation period
@@gullymusic3200 So translation: You're saying that there is no pressure from society or parents for folks in their early/mid 20s right now to get good paying jobs, get married by 30, start a family and have a stable/secure income (whatever that is) along with some plan for a home to live in by 35? Wouldn't everyone be more patient if social media FOMO and pressure from parents and society didn't exist? But older folks can't wait for the younger people to settle down in their own time a.k.a the patience and hustle you mentioned. The quicker the better right? Why is that?
@@akshayspeaking how much exactly is that good paying job which u mentioned ?? That is what is creating the problem here ...everyone want those high packages without having equally good skills
@@gullymusic3200 The fact is obviously not everyone will be equally skilled to get the same package. The problem is with both younger and older folks. Just because someone got a fancier car or a bigger home, pressure starts. By the natural structure of human nature, I guess the instinct is to aim for the same as soon as possible. Not everyone can rewire the human brain now. It is what it is.
All who got laid off are from product base companies services are yet to decide nothing from banking domain except Credit Suisse nothing from health care domain and pharma clients for IT nothing for rtail and logistics except amazon so stop all this nonsense paid video as such useless
