My favorite one was the live action ODST commercial where you get to see the ODST become a hardened soldier.

I did a whole school presentation about the halo 3 “Believe” ad and how breathtaking it was. I got an A+ solely because my teacher was a giant halo fan and we geeked out about the ad fro almost the whole class period

The Halo 3 trailer with chief picking up his helmet and putting his AR on his back then deploying that bubble shield then running out after that wraith mortar hit was the coolest shit ever

The live action halo 3 ODST ad still gives me goosebumps. Every. Time. And the live-action short film on youtube, "Landfall," seriously. Got me excited for Halo 3 the way no commercial could. If they could have made a movie like that? Grunts and ODSTs fighting like hell and trying their best and still barely scraping by? Really captured the gritty, desperate nature of the war and made you understand that they really NEEDED Chief.

Believe. The interviews, the diorama, that somber piano music... everything was just hitting, man

Can't forget the iconic Johnson pre order for Odst. Y'know, the one where theres a whole firefight going on, he walks through the field and everyone just stops shooting and acknowledges him. Legendary.

I despise that alienware commercial "sometimes I can't tell myself from my machine" no gamer thinks like that

Dude it's "Deliver Hope" Idk why but "Deliver the Hope" just pissed me off so hard

In another timeline Halo 5 was as good as its marketing made it out to be.

I will never forget how hyped and then disappointed I was in Halo 5. That commercial made me think they had the balls to actually kill Chief or at least give him a worthy fight that could seriously injure him. The idea of making Chief rogue was interesting as hell. I listened to every single episode of Hunt The Truth the day they came out and that story mixed with the trailers had me so excited for the game. I always thought he went rogue for the right reason, like it was against orders, but it was for the greater good and that sounded interesting. The goodie too shoes Chief defying orders!!!??? Like, damn! And then we got the game and it was so toned down to what I was expecting. I'm a little mad it didn't pick up from the desert cinematic with the Guardian, but sometimes things change, I understand that and I wouldn't have been that mad, if a better idea comes up then for sure. It's just a random cinematic that I don't think was even in the game. Man. I have never been so disappointed in a game.

Reach’s commercial was really cool, it also showed us how the OG Noble 6 died And also how Kat’s arm died

The "Believe" campaign has always stuck with me. Probably my favorite bit of Halo media outside the games.

Why does everyone say the starry night commercial aired during the super bowl? It was aired during a regular football match.

Halo 3's Believe is hands down my favorite commercial. It never fails to bring a tear to my eye and immediately brings me back to 2007.

I feel like the Alienware one could have been a lot more appealing if A) they showed actual Halo Reach B) converted the suit to Chief’s (or 6’s since he is in Reach) armor, with maybe the helmet appearing on the desk to the side or something that we see as like a zoom out recap type thing from the side

The Halo 3 Landfall commercial was so good. It goes to show the importance of the chief since so many lives were lost in order to find out where he was going to land.

If we're being totally honest, Halo 5's promotional material was some of the best IF you ignore the fact that they have nothing to do with the garbage campaign

I remember one in Wich a spartan is graduating from High School and then goes to college and it's all to sell a computer for studies and I think it's pretty funny, really liked the "spartan goes to college" as a way of putting "get Halo with you to the college with this laptop".

Deliver Hope is truly god tier marketing for a video game. No other video game company could touch it. I put that kind of Reach campaigning up there with the "Believe" campaign that Bungie did for Halo 3. Bungie was definitely ahead of it's time with promotions.

Halo: Starry Night was badass Chief Jumping into a Pack of Brutes and A couple wraiths is suicide in game play but in canon master chief can pull it off

When the Super Bowl dropped that Starry Night trailer we crapped our pants, plus the Deliver Hope trailer was on the home page during the 360 days and you could put the music over the menu if you hovered over the icon. So good

Like seriously, that one is by far the best trailer for any video games ever created, it’s so awesome with the song raindrop prelude playing with its sad and somber tone as it looks as if the unsc is on its last legs, then with the chief being “captured” but yet alluding to the fact chief isn’t dead, and will definitely surprise the hell out of some covi’s by throwing that plasma grenade.

Lets talk about how simple the dudes spartan backstory is but how amazing it is. I just love when people create backstories for their spartan because it shows how creative people can get and how they put their spartan into the halo universe. Please who ever see's this tell me or come up with a backstory of your spartan from any halo game!

Maybe y'all didn't talk about it because it wasn't in a TV spot, but I still don't feel like any other trailer matched the Halo 3 announcement trailer. Idk why, but it still gives me goosebumps to this day.

The Live action ODST, and Starry Night ones are my favourites. I remember when my parents were watching the Super Bowl and had a party to watch it. When that trailer came on, I was so excited when I saw the Helmet that everyone except my mom was confused on what it was.
