People fail to realize that lost origin went through a big reprint and still has the 2nd most expensive and sought after card with the giratina. Once the set gets more rare it will skyrocket and for $150 a box it’s a great investment
Thanks Legend, appreciate the feedback, only been consistently posting since late Jan, this internet stuff takes time, RU-vid is such a large ocean of channels for a small start up to get traction., I will keep going, it is all fun.
I do like this way of looking at it 🔥 I’d agree with this list entirely - the fact is that all of the sword and shield era boxes will continue to climb over time, but some are still so low that the potential upside is huge. Great analysis
I couldn't have said it better mate, thank you for the feedback, this tiny channel appreciates the support. Fusion Strike and Lost Origin I think really have so much upside coming soon.
Especially as sets go out of the competitive rotation (leaving almost no chance of further reprints), the values come to be much more influenced by the demand for the chase cards. Glad I went deep with LO and CR not too long ago haha.
Interested to see how this list changes over the next year. I still think evolving skies is underpriced. It matches pretty even with team ups top pulls as far as prices and it’s a third of the cost. It’s from the boom era, has a ton of people that know about and want it . I’d be very surprised if it was not over 1k by end of the year. But who knows!
Yes, when I did this video I think I used the top 5 chase cards as a basis, I would say with the depth of E.S. it certainly is undervalued, and sets the BenchMark, agree 100% with your comment.
Great video. Really interesting data. Thanks for putting in the work! Be interesting to do the same calculation looking at the top 10 chase cards given the difference in depth between the sets. Love that you don’t spend time hassling about the subscribe button and also love the mood lighting! 😁
Thank you Legend, the top 10 don't change the outcome too dramatically, those top 5 always end up in the mix. Evolving skies obviously has the most depth, so it could shift it forward a bit. appreciate the feedback. yer the lighting is eh maybe time to change it, but it seems to be enough for now. lol
I think maybe you should look at top 20 chase cards because if a set has like 20 cards in the $30-$70 range it can be a big hit even without any $100+ cards.
Agreed, that would change the ranking and most likely put evolving skies as #1, I really wanted to find the next best grower for the other sets by looking at the top anchor cards only, though I do agree with what you are saying 100%
Good video. And your method for calculating is fine although i do feel it could be made more accurate. As you suggested odds of pulling all five chase cards is very minimal so instead of using the total of the top 5 five chase cards i feel the average of the top 5 chase cards would give a more accurate indication. Im actually interested if it would change the order much. Out of sword and shield im have the most sealed in lost origin then fusion, then chilling reign and then evolving skies so hopefully percentage growth wise your video is on the money.
You Literally have the best chance with those sets in my humble opinion. You are all over it. there are a few ways to calculate the best sets, ultimately I feel those top 5 will always turn up in the mix. Thank you for the feedback, appreciate it.
The formula is good if you are opening the products to collect individual cards. This also doesn't factor in pull rates for chase cards, which will affect sealed products more long term.
I couldn't disagree more, would I really need to know the pull rates of evolving skies to make money off the sealed product...? would I need to know pull rates on Team Up to profit off the booster box over a 5 year term..?
@TheChaseCard-xb1ss You serious? There's a lot of factors that go into long term pokemon investment. If you don't think pull rates for chase cards matter for long term investing then good luck to you lol.
You obviously cherry picked the video, I mentioned at the very start that E.S. was the overall best performing investment from Sword & Shield. You completely missed the point of that video. Thank you for your solid advice. I will take it on board. Bahahahaha
@TheChaseCard-xb1ss k buddy. Reason why I'm not subscribed nor consider your opinion professional whatsoever. Do you know what I watched or what I know about investing not just pokemon. No you don't and your negativity is the reason why you have no following.
Just about to release the Sun & Moon version this weekend, keep an eye out, Scarlet & Violet coming a bit later in the year, after a few more releases.
While silver tempest isn’t my favorite set I think that’s one, really any trainer gallery sets astral didn’t get that reprint so I think that’ll help long term. And fusion strike is a big sleeper especially since it’s no longer on the Pokémon center
They are so close, though the depth of Astral is better, that Rainbow Pikachu in VV has been crashing in price, just did a video on it. Thank you for the feedback
I will, it has been something I have been looking at, with the capital growth of Sun & Moon it does not represent as good value right now as sword and shield, even though a tonne of money has been made there. Keep an eye out for The Sun & Moon video coming In March
Yep, Fusion strike really came on my radar about a year ago, its still relatively cheap here in Australia too, Thank you for your feedback. I appreciate the comment.
You clearly didn't listen to the video properly. I said nothing of the kind. Your feedback is Flawed

You have the right data. You just used a weird and useless way to analyze it with a clever video title. Good luck with your future endeavors.@@TheChaseCard-xb1ss
I would hate to boost this video but how about I save you the watch any booster box you buy at a low will go up I'm sick of seeing these generic videos pop up on yt
