Luke one tipbit of an info you know the adventurers cards they get and update ? there is even a socalled RACE in there and aqua got Godess so if she really wanted to show someone she is a real god she could just show the card but she too stupid to think about it. + that was from the translated cards but that is no spoiler or anything cause we know what or who she is. Just a funny side note.

People voted for it because you haven't seen all the characters, and thus, character dynamics. Also all the plot. There's plot everywhere. Big plot, small plot, top plot, bottom plot, hanging plot, flat plot; sometimes the plot is treated respectfully, sometimes it is literally smacked around. 😄But stick around for the most loveable cast of any anime.

Nah he is even surprisingly insightful for someone that is a complete anime newbie . And one that started with something rather unique like AOT . His "i did not understand anything" are usually over OP songs , which is fine and expected from a beginner . Here it's just a bad pick . Konosuba is awesome , and he'll enjoy it , but it was a bad idea to have him watch it NOW . What's the point of him watching a show that satires a whole genre and subgenre , if he does not know enough about it , to notice the parodied tropes and details ? That's like having someone that never watched Rambo skip over and watch Hot Shots! .

Konosuba is a good ol' satire on the Isekai genre. So it makes fun and extenuates all the tropes, and that includes THE ANGLES.

Another top of the top choice. Konosuba is a must see. Even if you might not get some of the deeper humour since it's not just comedy, it's a pretty harsh satire on the whole damn isekai genre.

This guy has a life expectancy that makes mayflies cringe. 0:48 A pool of tadpoles, in case it wasn't clear that this is going to be a cheeky anime. 1:00 Kadokowa's most popular crossover character, Truck-kun, makes his cameo. I know they don't have jaywalking laws in Japan, but if this recurring plot point is plausible, maybe they should consider some. 1:12 Because the plot needs you to have at least one redeeming quality. Otherwise the messaging gets a little too on-the-nose about the fact that Kadokowa's target demographic is maidenless losers with crippling social anxiety. 1:30 Get used to this camera angle. 2:15 Tried to do a good deed and his feeble nerd heart gave out on him. Hmmm, watching a show that is chock full of parodies before seeing most of the animes it parodies, well the comedy still plays. Have fun mr editor, jiggle challenges await. If Luke is getting distracted during Aqua's explanation he's going to miss lots of dialog in later episodes, this should be fun on Patreon. It's vital to remember for the series Aqua's luck is the worst and she's dumb as a stump.

Kazuma needs to know that shut-in and neat are the same thing. Also leaving to get a game doesn't count. Going to the park that does count as leaving the house. People's expectations on a goddess is on the high side Aqua is a goddess believe it or not. They need to lower them because gods and goddesses are not perfect they all have flaws.

"What is that about!? That was not needed!" Indeed, it wasn't. In fact, that character doesn't even show up in the manga. The anime adds a lot of stuff that isn't in the manga, and it's honestly great. The manga is still amazing btw, and I do suggest reading it. There's some stuff you can see in the manga that wasn't adapted to the anime, but the anime had a lot of freedom to go crazy with some things. The manga itself does have those sussy moments, but the anime took it up an extra notch or 2.

Ranma 1/2 (Martial arts with wacky curse transformations) Urusei Yatsura (The original, not the remake): wacky aliens show up to bother a high sdhool student. Bokusatsu Tenchi Dokoru-chan (Extremely violent angel tries to de-pervertize a teenage horndog)

Well Luke had to learn about the wonders of casual and gratuitous fan service just like the rest of us lol ironically Attack on Titan and Death Note don't have the usual fan service that most anime tends to have. I actually haven't seen this anime yet, but I'm always hearing about it. I'd heard about Aqua and her...lack of cover lol but it's interesting seeing it in action. Clever artists keeping those angles within vaguely appropriate limits as always lol 💜

Besides the obvious reasons they voted for it, (tiddies are just that good, man), this is a genuinely hilarious comedy. (Usually a bit funnier if you have experience with other animes in the Isekai genre, as Konosuba is more of a parody of that genre's tropes) Don't expect the camera angles to change. In fact, they will get worse. A common joke among the community is the mystery of whether or not Aqua wears panties, a mystery that will never be answered. Just... Expect to have boobs in every episode. There is no escaping it, not in Konosuba. They're played for laughs, not just for the eye-candy. They're over-exaggerated and waaaay too well animated, picking on the Isekai trope of the MC having vapid girls at his side, just bc of their tiddies. The point of the joke is that, despite their attractiveness, they are absolutely useless, to the point of being very detrimental. We love Konosuba.

i know what you are saying about what happens. He die from shock, just from thinking a girl is going to be run over. No it all that lead up to him dyeing that is the kicker. 1) thinking some girl is going to be run over. 2) finding out it not going do it. 3) faint after finding out 4) pee your self 5) end up in the hospital 6) all the people there start to LOL at how he end up there 7) go into shock mode once more 8) pee once more 9) then die.

HELL NO! Mushoku Tensei for an anime beginner? Are you nuts??? That shit's tough to watch even if you have experience with anime and all it's weirdness! Some of the shit Rudy does is actually vile, and if you don't have experience from other anime or the ability to look much deeper into things than the surface level you'll hate it. It is my favourite show of all time and I do think he should watch it, because it's a truly phenomenal anime that perfectly shows what can be so great about the isekai genre, just not yet.

Try to get over the "weird camera angles" - it feels like it's all you can focus on and are missing the comedy a lot, sadly. It's just part of the asthetics of this series, which is annoying at the start but just roll with it. You will love the cast, the comedy and the whole series :)

not the best choice for a comedy anime, konosuba is an isekai that’s also a comedy anime. you should’ve watched danshi koukosei no nichijou, sakamoto desu ga or other anime that are primarily comedy. Konosuba is hilarious but also full of ecchi scenes and sus angles.
