1:43 Here's a thing about Fallout engine. Player character is actually an existing NPC inside of a game library. Whenever you create a character or make a plastic surgery you actually add changes to an existing entity that is used as you. So basically each of you changed client sided model of a Player. But only hair is for some reason server sided. Idk why and if it is because of some changes because of the mod, but basically each of you sees everyone as yourself-ish. I never digged inside that particular multiplayer mod cause I left community years before something actually working was mad for Fallout 3. This is very exciting to see people still play and mod New Vegas cause by far it is still a game I've spend the most time modding.

16:49 Las Vegas (New Vegas) was barely touched by a War. Mr House's AA systems and rocket countermeasures shot down most of the bomber and rockets targeted at Vegas and outskirts. This is why it barely has any random radioactive spots, a lot of plants with food literally on the ground and a METRIC SHITTON of clean water without any radiation which habitats FISH! FISH! IN FALLOUT! This is why I kinda like Fallout 3 over NV, but NV has a lot of pros, so I'm kinda on the fence.

26:15 you can hotkey weapons in Fallout 3 same as you can do it in NV. Can't remember. Something like Q or smth. Not only weapons. Anything. Armor, meds, food. You can add anything to the bar.

Maybe Q shows you the binds, cause here how the binding works. 1) Go to the Item Menu of your choice (Weapons/Items/Armor/Misc) and hold down a number on the Number Line located on the Upper Portion of your keyboard. 2) While holding down a number (1-8), Left Click on the Item you wish that number to correspond to.
Holding R is how you holster your weapon in literally every 3D fallout game. So for anyone confused about the creators, obsidian made the first couple fallouts back when they were 2D then sold the rights to Bethesda for fallout 3 then Bethesda allowed them to make new Vegas to basically try their hand with 3d modeling but it is in the same engine and used a lot of the same assets as 3 cause it only had a 9 month develop period so there is a mod that puts all of fallout 3 into new Vegas

XD Because of the multiplayer game, all of the playable characters look the SAME in multiplayer, except for hair style and color! So the characters in Jake's screen has faces like Disney's Snow White, Gabby's like Barbie dolls, Ellis' like anime characters, not sure what the characters on Cath's screen looks like, and Alex's are a stereotypical Dick Dastardly villain! Either the game's messed up or the mod's messing things up!
This game isnt exaclty stable at the best of times... But tbh, this prbly isnt the way one should experience this masterpiece for the first time, I kinda feel sorry for Alex and Gabby
Surprised you guys just didn't guide each other around and complete the quests. Like with cath, all she needs to do is shoot/kill the geckos nearby. The game will tell her if she went too far. Shoot thr geckos and then come back and talk to the lady. If interacting/talking with the lady is the problem. You guys are on computers right? Console cpmmands. If not. Cath can reload her save. Unless the mod doesn't work that way. Probably could just play the game somewhat like a real mmo. Say bye and meet up later.
