I have had aquariums for a long time, they are great! If I can give you any advise; take your time. Don't rush out to buy everything (soil, plants, fish, snails, shrimp) all at once. An aquarium is a little enclosed ecosystem and balancing it can be challenging. Don't worry too much if it doesn't work out and some fish die.. It's not fun, but it can take more then a year to find what works and what doesn't. Even the most experienced of us still make mistakes.

Yeah the #1 mistake people make is thinking they can fill it up and just drop fish in it. As long as she learns about the nitrogen cycle and gives it a few weeks to a month to get going, and gets fish that are appropriate for the tank size. Gotta love getting filter sponge from an established setup to seed beneficial bacteria into the system, those "bottled bacteria" are usually snake oil.

About the rain part that is to make sure by x steps. I dont believe it fully. There is somewhere in the code about steps taken for weather, but as I tried to read it, it didnt make sense or even talk about it so much. The weather in Stardew is kinda randomized. Especially after the first year (Like it always rains on spring day 3 on the first year) The only true way to make sure it for sure rains the next day is to use a rain totom

The Terraria crossover is *relatively* new. And fish size in relation to tank size is a half-truth; this results in stunting which will give overall poorer health, and in many cases fish will continue to grow to their proper size anyway, tank be damned. On that note, some shrimp varieties are a fun bottom feeder to have if you're in any way limited by size. Grabbing food with their little fingies...

I'm sure someone else has commented this already, but it's annoying that the nametag covers up which day of the season it is. Did you do that intentionally to stop people from backseat gaming or is it coincidental?
