I have 2 pairs of the 25s. They're super comfortable. But we got a light dusting of snow the other day, nothing that you would normally need boots for, and they were way more slippery than the typical sneaker. However they are the most comfortable sneaker I've owned.
@@AyyeBCthey are like a Cuban heel brother. I’m 5ft 4 inches but with these bad boys on I’m at least 6ft, amazing shoe. Especially for getting the girl that likes a taller kind of guy.
As a 71yo senior, I highly recommend the Gel Nimbus line just for pure walking comfort every day. Light weight, cool, super cushion, great spring, non-slip, great support and balance.
Oh man been waiting for this video for ages. I thought these were max cushion and really good, but then I tried on the new balance 1080 v13 on the other foot, and that was a whole another level of cloudy goodness
@@jefri4176are these soft plush shoes big no goes for a obese person? I'm 400 lbs and want super comfy shoes and willing to pay but worried they might crush too much for a big guy like me, even with just walking pressure (not harshness of running on them). Thoughts? Note. I just ordered the nimbus 25 and gt 2000 11 from Amazon. Just figured I would ask what you think I should expect.
I used to be a Brooks fan. PF rocked me 6 months ago. Couldn't wear Brooks anymore. Thankfully, I had purchased 2 shoes prior to the start of September, the NB More V4 and Ninbus 25. Only shoes that have allowed me to walk with minimal pain were the Nimbus 25. I just picked up the 26. I will be looking at Hoka Clifton 9 next.
100% agree with you on that tag on the tongue. Really wish they would do something else there, I’ve had to change my sock game in order to accommodate that tag. I’m mainly picking up the 26 since I’ve bought 3 pairs of the 25 and want something a little different. I’m also hoping the 26 has a less warm upper than the last and I can’t stress enough that the 25s have ass traction on wet stone sidewalks and metal plates (which my home area has plenty of). Hoping with the new outsole that it makes that better for me since right now the 25s are a hazard on my commute since most of where I walk is sprayed down in the mornings.
You always buy the previous model. The later in the year, the old model gets way cheaper. I bought 2 pairs of the 24's around Christmas for the same price as 1 pair of 25's.
The 26 is way more breathable for summer than the 25 and better grip but thats about it...if you dont live in a super hot area in the summer then get the 25
I never had a pair of Asics running shoes in my life. Yesterday, I tried both 25 and 26 in a local store. I felt that 26 was much softer than 25 for the cushion. I felt 25 was similar to a Pegasus 38.
I just bought the Nimbus 26 since I wear extra wide, it is actually comfortable when I tried them on, IMO Nimbus is better on lacing than the 25 but both of them are comfortable.
@@hasankazdal3494 it is a little bit wider though narrow cut is still there but it is stretchy and I don't have any issue with it, I bought true to size and it fits fine for me. Comfortable and I like the feel of it.
The only thing stopping me from buying them I found the 25s too heavy for my liking waiting for weight to come down first maybe on the 27s or 28s . I’m size 12
Thanks for the reviews outside of just the normal sneaker head stuff. I wear them all! I think some of the Running Shoes from companies come out way too soon with the new model. I'd prefer them to just keep the model for 2-3 years unless there is a crazy update like how the 24 was to the 25. Seems like the Nimbus 25 just came out. Same as the Novablast 4
Great job on video!! The 25's are sublime, perfect for fast walking, daily walking including all day Disney World trips and perfect comfortable shoe for airline flights!! Glad to hear Ascics didn't try to "fix something that isn't broken"!:🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
I just bought the Nimbus 26. Glad I tried them on first. Bought a womens 7.5. They tended to throw my stance off. Felt like I was trying to walk on arch instead of the bottom of my foot. An insert, altho pricey fixed this up immediately. SKECHERS, please bring back your rocker bottom shoes!
Does it require sizing up half a size? What about the width in the forefoot and the volume inside? My feet are 10.7cm wide and size US 10. should i go for 2e or 4e in this
Are these on the wider side like the 1080v13? I wear the 1080v13 in 12.5 in regular/D width and they fit perfectly. My true width size is E but thats not an option.
The 25's unironically saved my life when i tried them out and was still working retail management. My foot pain after work daily was GONE, led to the back pain also being gone. Hearing that they found a way to make the 25 better has sold me (I absolutely destroyed the 25s before i finally got into my office)
I'm tossing between Gel nimbus 25 vs New balance 1080 V13.. My purpose is for a casual wear and long day walks in Disney World. Please suggest one of these or something else?
I have 25. My heel suffering from wearing it that I have to stick some cushion so I don't feel pain from it. Probably flaw design from the heel part which is hard and dig into my heel. The midsole is no doubt very comfortable but that heel part is too painful for me to even consider 26. The tongue part also rub your skin if you dont wear socks.
I have a new pair of nimbus 25. I can't wear them... when I walk or run it makes the rear top of my foot BLEED. I has a hard plastic in rear top of sneaker.
I have both the 25& 26, I found the 25 softer than the 26 I don't know why, may be due to the newly added amount of rubber outsole on the 26 to improve traction but unfortunately that made it slightly stiffer😢
My question as to comfortability which one , between the 2 is most comfortable,, I own the 25s up to date , those are the most comfortable sneakers I have ever worn ,, it'll be appreciated if I can receive a few replies, answering me 25 or 26 thanks., excellent video.
Love the 25 cushion however the cardboard like piece in the toe box will leave a permanent indentation if pressed in. Sent 2 back because of this issue. Is the 26 different?
They are as soft as the Invincible and may be a little softer but not so responsive, so for everyday and casual wear, the Nimbus is just as good and may be better, but for running only, the Invincible is better. Hope this helps
I tried the 26’s the other day (I wear for walking) and I don’t know still just a weird fit for me. The 25’s just didn’t fit me very well and didn’t give me a great feel. The NB 1080v13? Almost too soft 😂😂 they murder the ASICS as far as I’m concerned. I have the SC elite v4 coming tomorrow too - haven’t tried yet but I have an extremely wide foot so this will be my first “super shoe” very happy to have it on the way but yeah 1080v13 clears the ASICS 26 fairy comfortably for me
@@orepoutanes I’m not saying don’t try the Nimbus - they seem to work well for a tonne of people and I have terrible feet so if I say a shoe doesn’t work for me it’s certainly my feet not the shoe - but the 1080v13 is the only shoe for me. Might not be the best option for everyone - but for someone like me with messed up feet they are sensational. No contest - but if you haven’t tried the Nimbus definitely give them a shot really soft shoe
@@orepoutanes Night & Day. I had a pair of the 12’s. They were decent but lacked just a little cushion at the front and the ball of my foot would get sore (I have arthritis) but it’s night and day my man. If I rate the 13’s a 10/10 - the 1080v13 were a 3/10. The difference is that huge.
There is no gel on the forefoot in version 25, neither in version 26…! The price is 200€ here. Its a no buy for me. The midsole bottoms out quickly. Maybe they Will work for walking the dog!
They are a good shoe. Used the 5 and the 6 version. However, I would not use them for running. They are purely sport-style, as they will start to give you shin splints if you use them for actual training.
