You are absolutely right with the pricing! I feel like yourself that it is due to other channels hyping them up so they take advantage of the hype. I am starting to learn to not pull the trigger in buying them right away. I notice after a few mths the prices drop! Thanks for the review!

Thank you for watching my dear 🌹❤️ Yes, I saw that as well, prices will drop once the hype tones down. Also I've noticed the importance of testing the fragrance prior if you have the chance as fragrance is something very personal (unless it's something that you know you'll enjoy straight away). 💫

It's worth waiting until the price goes down. I always wait until I buy an overhyped perfume or a new release. The price will drop, the reviews will be more accurate over the time, and also you will see how many youtubers will end up decluttering the perfume. I plan to buy Imperiale, but I'll wait at least a year :-)

The best BR540 dupes to me are Emor London Oud 3 (best dupe of the edp) & Amber Oud Rouge (best dupe of extrait)

You are spot on about the quality of bottles of Armaf. The caps are falling off all the time and the bottles are unnecessarily bulky. And thanks for the complete review.

I got it before the price went up and it was SO worth it, closest dupe I've smelled so far. After a month or so the candy floss facet really came out! Such a beautiful and long lasting scent, perfect for layering too. Although I have to say, I don't really get any piney-ness from it

New subscriber here! Bought Shaghaf Oud, Sheikh al Shukjukh and Ameer Al Oud intense on your advise and love them. Madj al Sultan is in my whishlist. I recently saw a review saying Lattafa's Ser al Malika has the same vibe as Sheikh al Shukyukh. I am wondering if it's a hidden gem as few are talking about it? Would love to get your opinion on this one! Thanks for your elaborate reviews, I thouroughly enjoy listening to them!

Welcome, glad to have you here and I'm glad to hear you're enjoying my recommendations! 💫 I have a sample of Ser al Melika White (for women) and first times I tried it I didn't enjoy at all because it smelled unfinished and off in a way but now I just searched the sample and smelled it again after all this time and it has macerated beautifully, I am actually surprised! I see the resemblances to Sheikh al Shuyukh and Oud Mood, it has that sweet rose with some sweet spices (lots of saffron & a touch of cinnamon) with the same woody vanilla feel but this one has an added fresher musky fruity facet that almost gives it some brightness and a feminine touch. If you get it my advice would be to let it macerate for a good few months cause maceration did wonders for the sample I have or even better if you can test it prior. Thank you for watching 🌹❤️

@@AFragrantGlance now that I finally got a chance to try Ser al Malika myself, I'd say it gives me 'Khamrah vibes', particularly in the drydown! I was pleasantly surprised as I find Khamrah too strong in the cinnamon and nutmeg. To me, this is a nice and light alternative, suitable for summer or daytime wear. Not the same thing for sure but maybe of interest for those who appreciate Khamrah but find it a bit too overwhelming. What do you think, do they smell somewhat similar?

Thank you for watching ❤✨ If you want something similar - I really enjoyed Ana Abiyedh Rouge by Lattafa, it's also an inspiration of BR 540 and is a much affordable one. Another beautiful one is Historic Doria by Afnan, it's a mix between La Fleur Bouquet by Afnan and BR 540, look up some samples of these it's worth testing them.

Armaf is really over priced and I have couple of their bottles and I agree with you , they really need to work in their bottles for sure, I have 6 of their bottles , 4 of them I got issues with and the other two I don’t use much lolll I have this one and to be honest I’m Not in love with it and it’s not back up bottle worthy at all at least for me. I bought Lattafa version for mom and she loves it , my favorite is Al Haramain amber oud rouge spot on and the performance is amazing but unfortunately it been discontinued 😢…… Al Haramain Ruby is not bad I don’t love it as the rouge but I will be getting a back up bottle just in case. Have you tried the baroque or the Barakkat and what u think about them ?

Thank you for watching my dear 🌹❤ Ohh I know exactly what you mean haha, I have issues with almost all my bottles from Armaf, at this point it's a trademark of the brand haha 😂 I've heard so many amazing things about Amber Oud Rouge, such a shame it's now discontinued and so hard to find. I will look for a decant of the Ruby edition. Have you tried Arabians Tonka? If you enjoy this sweet saffron oakmossy DNA and you might want something sweeter deeper and more seductive I think you will enjoy it a lot. If you find a sample of it it's worth checking it out 🌠

Yeah new armaf fragrances are much more expensive than the older ones, luckily i've managed to get club de nuit white imperiale for quite a good price; not gonna buy untold though, there are much more affordable baccarat dupes

Have you tried the fragrance name Franck Olivier pure addiction. It's another baccarat rouge 540 clone fragrance.

Exactly. I am not buying a lot of the hyped up Middle Eastern fragrances because of the price increases. That is a lot of the allure - to be able to get a gem of a fragrance at a great price. But when I see last year it was $20 and today it is $40 - I am not buying it. I refuse.

Sadly I bought the other one that just came out, the Delina dupe, and I have to say, I really dislike it. Everyone was raving about it and the description sounded right up my alley. The opening is beautiful, but it quickly turns chokingly powdery, not like the beautiful makeup smell that I like, but just a dusty gagging powder. Yuck! I absolutely love the CDN intense from them, and it is a spot on dupe of one of my favorite fragrances, Noir de Noir by TF. I don't think I will be trying any others from this collection. Definitely waaaaaay overpriced.

i bought this blindly after seeing it pushed by various influencers im starting to wonder if the whole fragrance scene is a scam and people are getting paid to promote garbage so disappointed, hardly smell anything, doesn't project well, doesn't last and to me it smells like old wood bark in the forest

Thank you for watching, I'm sorry to hear it didn't work for you ❤️ No, I don't think people are paid to promote it, I think people genuinely enjoy it, are you familiar with the DNA of Baccarat Rouge 540 or is this the first fragrance you try in this scent family? Armaf fragrances and middle eastern fragrances in general need some time to macerate, give it some time and your experience with it might be different.

I'm facing the same issue. Horrible performance. It becomes a skin scent almost immediately. Even when I spray it on my arm or tissue paper and smell it up close, the scent is very faint. I don't know what the hype is about.

Thank you for watching 🌹❤️ It works great for both men and women but I wouldn't advice you to blind buy it, better to test it before. I had Ana Abiyedh Rouge by Lattafa it was in the same scent profile and I loved it!

I don't know if I bought a fake. But the performance of this is utter shit. It becomes a skin scent almost immediately. I become nose blind to it a few minutes after spraying it.

When I spray it on a tissue paper, I can smell it. But I noticed that the scent is quite faint. Not strong at all. I bought it from fragrance buy ca. So it might be real.

Yes, over hyped perfumes shoot the prices up. Like Khamrah? I mean, I didn't even use up the sample, such rubbish. Buy samples people, don't blind buy. Save yourselves money.

For me buying samples/decants is the healthiest way to go when it comes to this hobby, you get to explore many different fragrances from various brands, you expand your knowledge, you can explore scent families you're not familiar with all without breaking the bank. Thank you for watching ❤️

I agree 💯. I happen to like Khamrah and its coffee flanker after they both spent a few months maturing in the closet but I can totally relate to your comment. Looking back, I bought so many fragrances at the top of their hype only to see them some time later on Amazon at prices 50-70% lower than what I paid for them 😣. Decants and patience/self control is the way to go.
