Worth the money? Voge 300 Rally - OFF Road first impressions

In preparation for an upcoming review, I took the Voge 300 Rally for a short spin around the nearby woods... this is the video of my first impressions =)
I will further test this bike in the upcoming weeks and see if it is on-par with its rivals, the well known and respected CRF300L and CRF300 Rally.

For around €3,000 less than the price of a Honda CRF 300 Rally, I will take imprecision and vibrations at higher speeds! Looking forward to your review and comparisons -- obrigado.

Its a tough choice... 3000eur is a lot of money indeed. I guess that if you dont kind the "top speed" of 100km/h, than this is the right choice (the suspensios are also superior than the CRF, apparently). But I dont know about reliability... will these bikes still feel comparible in 5 years? Or one of them will be garbage and the other one will still be worth 60-70% of its value?

@@christosbardas84 it does, around 130ish, but not confortably. The engine doesnt sound smooth ("mechanically healthy" beyond 100kmh in my opinion :o

It is manufactured by the Loncin factory, one that manufactures for BMW, Honda, Kawasaki, etc. I don't think it's a bad factory.

The problem is not the quality of the materials (in my opinion) it is the long term stock of parts and support. Maybe Voge will be good, but other "similar" brands have failed before... I dont know what to think :D

@@OFFroadOFFcourse In Spain there is a Macbor Montana brand of 125 cc, 300 cc and 500 cc manufactured by Loncin and it has been running for many years without problems and with a large number of spare parts.

Hallo 😊! Ich habe die Voge 300 Rally gestern, auf Grund Eures Videos, Probe gefahren... Dieser kleine chinesische Ballermann ist einfach nur genial! Die Voge klingt wie damals, seinerzeit eine alte XT 500, (Wie die das heutzutage legal mit dem Sound hin bekommen haben ist mir ein Rätsel🤷‍♂️?Aber ich finde es guuut!!) hat immer genug Power und ein Superhanding...😎 Ich bin begeistert und werde mal schauen...😇😉 Mit Bikergruss Wilfried🏍

Thanks for upcoming review, I believe it is good,that this alternative bike exists however I have some doubts about the reliability comparing to Honda. Good job mate 😀

I couldn't agree more... I guess in the end, reliability, repairability and resell value is the real issue with all these bikes. I will try to find as much information as possible ;)

Yeah you definitely don't want a bike that casually breaks down in the middle of nowhere 😂 When you buy a Honda you know what you are paying for

@@dedosauro In this case I dont feel that reliability is trully the issue, but more the long term reliability. Sometimes these "smaller" brands discontinue their bikes and then its a pain to find parts/manuals. A lot of people have been telling me that Voge is not small, and that the bikes are made by Loncin (which is supposed to be some respected factory but I dont know anything about that) so perhaps it wont be like that... but my personal feeling is that one should always be cautious :P

@@dedosauro well.. vogue is owned by loncin, witch is a titan in motors for very very many machines. had a loncin engine on my snowblower and it was damn indestructable. so reliability on engine is no problem. gearbox and drivetrain is stil something people need to test out.

I almost went for this bike.. but it has some weird mechanical stuff like how the sprocket is attached to the wheel.. anyhow the crf300 was too expensive but in the end ended up buying a 2nd hand drz 400 with low kms

@@hazcat640 Its definitely a hard choice to make...I loved the CRF300L, but I also have tons of respect for the DRZ... honestly, I think nowadays I'd prefer the CRF (not better raw performance, but better overal package) ;)

same old story, when a bike is light and easy to handle, comments come ;;;; easy, for beginners....;) Just like surron, talara etc;; hich on single tracks go even faster than pure enduro bikes, but at the end are said t be "for beginners " ;) because it is easier, lighter etc.. Thanks for review ;)

Ah, and dont forget that "Best for beginners" doesnt necessarily mean "Not so good for advanced riders" :P

well... I think you should start putting a newbie person on the bikes and tell them what to do and compare the behavior of the bike and adaptability of the rider. Because any bike in your hands feels like a toy and so easy to do everything and it's not fair, simply not fair. hahahahahaha Just kidding. Keep up with the awesome work!

Entretanto acabei por comprar uma KLX 250 já de injecção eletrônica, usada de 2017 e estou a adorar a experiência. Fraquinha de motor, mas muita boa de suspensões, para o preço! Alguma hipótese de testar uma dessas? Obrigado mais uma vez, e continua o Excelente trabalho. Este canal é um espetáculo, divertido, e um vício de ouvir a opinião de quem sabe destas coisas 😊!

tive uma klx 250 de injeção 2009, procura por marcelino cam mod, junta com um fmf q4 e sem a tampa do filtro, chega a 30hp, cheguei a passar a minha no dinamometro... andava mto bem no off road... bem melhor q de origem.

@@OFFroadOFFcourse a vantagem da klx é essa, já aqui ninguém quase conhece, quando tive uma no Brasil ninguém sabia o que era, ainda mais o modelo de injeção... No Usa, por exemplo, eram a carburador nessa altura. Como é desconhecida, conseguem-se bons negócios 😁

Hi, can you help with the fuel for this bike please? (I bought one but didn't know this) In the Italian manual it says E5 (5% ethanol) fuel only, in the Spanish manual it is: "Reposte gasolina sin plomo E5 con octanaje superior a 90 NO.". According to google translate I should use fuel with an octane rating higher than 90. Because where I live E5 is only available in 95 octane version from shell: V-Power... But octane-100 type fuels are available for cheaper at every petrol station but they are all E10 (10% ethanol). So what is the truth, what should I use?

The suspension is adjustable

Only the rear shock can be adjusted for pre-load.

@@luispnrf valid points. There is both good and bad quality coming out of china. Usually there is a non Chinese brand on the better stuff, but they are probably catching up.

@@henrikforsberg683 Indeed, chinese factories build what you pay them to build (they don't care if it's good or bad) but Loncin used to build engines for BMW motorcycles so they know what quality control is. And Voge is the high quality Loncin brand.
