Great question! For live performances, I tend to lean heavily on the Play because of its simplicity and flexibility in a live setting. The Performance mode on the Play is awesome for on-the-fly changes and adding variations to your set, which is something I really enjoy during live shows. When it comes to the Polyend Tracker, I understand the feeling of being a bit more "locked in"-it’s, in my opinion, more rigid compared to the Play. I haven’t personally experimented with controlling the Tracker using the Play yet, but now that you mention it, that sounds like an interesting approach. It could potentially bring some of that live flexibility from the Play into the Tracker’s setup, which might be worth exploring. If I were to perform this song live, I’d probably stick to using the Play in Performance mode to keep things dynamic and spontaneous. But incorporating the Tracker as a secondary element, maybe for more structured sequences or textures, could add another layer to the performance. Thanks for the inspiration - now I’m tempted to experiment with combining the two more!
