@@ramblingrob4693 can’t argue with you bud. Pertwee was brilliant in the role. But the modern show was still good. It worked because it was totally different and didn’t try to copy the original. I think they based it more on the books.
I never knew Charlotte Coleman passed away in 2001, I thought she'd given up acting. I liked her character, bit sarcastic & the chemistry between her & Jeremy Austin was great. Reminded me of my Sister LOL

It used to always scare me as a little kid when he used to fall backwards...then in the later series when they moved to New Zealand, he started to fall forwards....
@@HistoryMemorialCrime I was 3yrs old in 79, but caught the re-runs on Sunday afternoons in the early 80's around 81/82 at 5yrs old. After they ended my favourite show was "Robin Of Sherwood". I've got an old picture from when I was around 4/5 yrs old of me meeting and getting an autograph from John Pertwee aka Worzel at Toy & Hobby in Manchester...I couldn't even reach the counter I was that young and small😁....
