Who would win? -a small german Versuchskonstruktion tank armed with a pretty interesting MK103 gun and motorized with a good engine and a Panzerkampfwagen 5 Panther sloped armor OR -a smaller french 6.7 tonnes tank with a decent engine with a inesistent armor but a pretty strong 75mm SA32/SA44L cannon and a good top speed?

Fun fact: the elc bis is the only light tank that cannot turn its turret fully

if the ELC had it's 90mm the Leopard won't stand much of a chance

They are quite equal but I think the amx is a bit better with its speed and gun and impressive armour plus I have had a few battles where even heavy tanks couldn't pen the amx well in certain cases but the amx can't turn it's turret fully witch is a downside

Leopard and AMX ELC bis are not American tanks!!!

If you can't decide what to buy,take in consideration some things: -if you want to buy the VK16.02 you will get a fast and agile tank but take in consideration some things;you will have a 3cm aeronautical cannon with 9/12 shells in the loader (the shells in the loader depends from the cannon you choose;1 shell=25 damage) and you have a weak armor (30-50mm) because the VK16.02 is techncaly a recon tank (so it is not a fighting tank) and you have to research 2 engine to get a good traverse speed (the starter engine,the Maybach HL120 TR has a 37.55 of traverse speed) and it's pretty difficult to get to the max speed of 60km/h (the max speed in the same for every engine) -If you want to buy the AMX ELC bis you will get a tank with some starter flaws: 1:the SOFAM 150cv engine is kinda weak because the traverse speed is only 26.07 degrees 2:the starter cannon has a pretty long reload time and there are 2 BIG problems: 1-the armor is paper-thin (or even less) and that means the HE shells are a VERY BIG problem; 2:technicaly the ELC bis is NOT a light tank,but a airlifted tank destroyer ad it has a limited traverse turret (70° degrees total) in compensation you have some pros: 1:the tank is fast (max speed:65km/h) 2:you stil have a more powerful gun 3:if totally upgraded is a very powerful tank in a well-trained player/commander
