The fact that the tank's don't even need to penetrate the armor to have the spotting mechanic work, will be very annoying if you do not have the tank, but far more enjoyable if you have it
@@Hangyeol97 depends on the situation, if you team really good and all they need is a passive scout. This is another high skill play for the team play, sometimes every did so good you no need to do much apart from distracting enemies. LT main purpose is scout and distraction not a damage dealer. T-100LT throws everything of LT principle out of the windows. This basically decrease the purpose of TDs hence it literally get spotted permanently and what happen when TDs are no more. There is no High pen vehicles, means HTs spam is next which are both bad for LTs and MTs. HTs doesn’t care if they spotted, their purpose is Brawling frontline anyway.
Spotting mechanic will be op in 1vs1 scenarios. Don't think that was necessary to ad to the game. This tank itself is nice but that mechanic should be removed.
The last time they tried a new mechanic for light tanks the Sheridan missile was invented. I'm about 98% sure that eventually the new mechanic will either be nerfed to the ground or removed completely. Though seeing as this is a Soviet branch, its very likely that they won't rebalance the mechanic because bias. Not keeping my hopes up that bias won't corrupt Blitz developers but so far they've pretty much paid more attention to making German and other vehicles stronger and basically left the Ruski tanks behind. But we'll see.
Just like Autoreloaders and Tungsten shells, right? It doesn't work on blind hits, balanced enough. Missiles are a whole different league from any other mechanic. A skilled player will be able to hit enemies behind any cover, this just prevents you from being sneaky.
Can they create something else? This is a stupid mechanisms. Those LTs have good Camo already then they need this? Spot for longer time? What's next? T 100 missle with titan active armor? :v
I don’t see how this is in the level of the T49A or the tier 9 light tank in the branch, because both of those were broken beyond anything WG has cooked up over the years, even if you were to remove their missiles. Throwing missiles aside for a second: T49 had broken stats and a ridiculously high chance to destroy modules. Killed ammo racks on impact 90% of the time. The tier 9 featured ridiculously broken armor complete with ridiculous mobility. Now focusing on missiles, both could do damage on situations where no other tank in the game could. If you were competent with them, you could basically ignore armor slopes, pierce the roof of vehicles, and ignore most cover in the game, even some flat walls. Hell, for a while they were basically fire and forget missiles with the auto-aim system. This is basically just a spotting buff, instead of 10 seconds after being spotted it wears off in 20 if you get hit. Not extremely broken, though I can see it being shortened into 15 seconds judging at its stats and WG’s track record of nerfing the wrong thing.
@@radornic2387 If you knew what you were doing you could basically ignore armor by angling your missile so it hit the armor at 90 degrees or just pen the roof of vehicles, if the ridiculous pen wasn’t enough.
@@AntonRosier winrate? They literally dominate most of tier 10 games I cant play ht or mt or lt properly because there is that 2 td always camping Its annoying
@@AntonRosier no. They can buy enough time for the opposing side to push and thats what finish the team They can prevent pushes from the heavy side Which let their hts to go in med side and finish our meds Overall they are really dominating games Sometimes
3300 dpm, super low profile, fast and maneuverable, decent upper plate, basically no turret because of how thin it is as well as “tracer” rounds… there is absolutely no way the t100 lightweight doesn’t receive a huge nerf after it drops. This thing is gonna be way too op, especially in tournaments.
That's the whole point, to keep the enemy spotted for 20 seconds so that they are more hesitant to take risks, thus giving you or your team a better opportunity to escape or deal damage. That emoji really invalidates your opinion even more and shows that you always make assumptions instead of analyze and formulate.
@@ember2933 so you think it's a good idea to give tanks a mechanism that keeps enemies spotted for 20 seconds in a fast-paced game with small maps? Only thing this mechanism will do is make more and more players park their tank in a bush and not move as they're scared to be spotted for 20 seconds. If you think that's a good thing you're delusional
@@FuselierX Do you realize that TD camping spots on small maps are painfully obvious, meaning anyone with the right mind will avoid those spots? The Town side and Hill side of Mines for example, nobody is going to push those open areas because they know that there are TD's there. So I'm pretty sure if a TD gets spotted in the _Generic TD Spot™_ , then by default, no one is going there anyway.
is that a style of play? camping is horrible if my team does it we lose (because they kill me because I don't like camping and my all useless team loses) and then if the enemy team does it we beat them up because we have the whole map to us that of camping does not work
Sure WG, give these light tanks, the most scout oriented class in the game, with even more scouting capabilities while taking away nothing in return. Highest top speed out of any tier 10, high camo, high DpM, almost Soviet medium frontal hull armor and a turret so flat it's basically non existent. Is WG trying to reinvent the wheel here? This is as bad as the missiles.
@@cimientosrotos6629 Missiles could hit enemies above hills, other smaller cover. So to avoid getting hit, people avoided spots on the map, or just camped to not get hit by missiles with no chance to hit the enemy back.
@@cimientosrotos6629 ATGMs were completely broken in the Hands of good players. You are able to shoot the enemy from behind Cover. Every tank is Balanced around the fact that they need to Expose at least a bit to be able to shoot. ATMG Sheridan and t92 didnt need to. Thats why it was broken.
The fact that these tanks have outrageous dpm combined with troll armor and a new mechanic, it sounds like the American light tank tech tree all over again
The issue is that the spotting mechanic doesn’t just give the tank an advantage, it gives the whole team one. That gives the entire team an advantage over the other team, unlike the Sheridan with missles, which only made the tank itself overpowered.
"This Shell's effect works even if it recochet or doesn't pen" Seriously wtf wargaming...you are really going to ruin the game with these special abilities, and I'm not joking when I say that the tracer shells will make most TDs completely unreliable...
@@Mr_AntiSocial I mean many WW2 tanks have no night vision vs post WW2 tanks have better night vision devices. Unless WG decides to give night vision to all tanks then it would be a disadvantage
I like the new techtree but in my opinion 20 Sec. are way to long if the normal sporting is about 10 Sec. The tear 9-10 will be to powerful during the start to hold enemies lighted up and also at the end (super strong) cause the enemies can be spotter for 20 sec. With a not pen shell and are open, can’t do nothing because the light runs after 10 Sec. gone the enemie is still waiting till the light is going to attack from any direction and he can’t remove because he is spotted.
I'm not sure about this spotting mechanic, seems a bit ridiculous that we've reached a point where tanks aren't spotted for long enough. I don't know why every new line has to have a gimmick attached to it for players to take advantage of. If the tanks were balanced to begin with they wouldn't need the unnecessary garnish would they.
To keep the game fresh and to give a lot more people a reason to grind it. The goal of the company is to not just satisfy a certain group of players, say skilled ones. They're losing profit if people get bored of the game.
@@radornic2387 This spotting mechanic will be abused by the great players just like the missiles were. Nobody was asking for anything like this, just bring out a fun balanced tank line. People are going to go for these tanks regardless of what gimmick wg attaches to them, just my opinion.
@@radornic2387 Giving OP and unrealistic exclusive features to a tank is a horrible idea. Autoloaders and autoreloaders are good examples, only a few tanks have these features, but they aren't OP and they make sense, but tanks that can keep enemies spotted for 20 seconds ? That's too OP, and it wouldn't give an advantage only to the player, but to the whole team, like, if my team have at least one guy using this tank and the enemy don't, my whole team would be able to see spotted enemies for 20 seconds, but the enemy team wouldn't.
@@MateusHenrique-bp3qs It's not OP whatsoever. It, first of all, does no effect to frontline tanks as they're all pretty much spotted for the entire match already. Other light tanks going high speed would be hard to hit. And tank destroyers once spotted before the tracer rounds, would've already relocated, as a good td player would do.
Tracer shells should only add the full 20 seconds to you, and maybe 15 or none to your team Every light tank understands the value of spotting and being spotted, and having 1 LT on your team vs 2 on the enemy team, every spotter knows how difficult that is Especially if even 1 of those 2 LTs can keep u spotted long enough for a chieftain mk 6 to burn u from full HP This mechanic definitely needs some hard balancing Either reduce the timer, or limit it to a select few members of the team Make it a consumable (not premium shells, we have enough Sheridan Missiles) Beautiful tanks tho, been waiting on these LTs for eternity. My BC might collect dust after this
I'm actually glad that I recently bought my T54 ltwt back recently mostly just because I missed it, now it's got 200k xp on it for the next tank in line lol
@@xfluffytraxy4996 my guy this tank is all of those tanks in one with a broken spotting mechanic. It literally makes all the lights and all the Russians meds pointless to use now
@@bro3217 it doesnt. The Vickers Was always a Light with Medium advantages. Gun Depression, turret armor and cheap Hesh rounds. The 62a Was always made for hull down fights, it has much better gun handling, stronger turret and more gun Depression. The 140 is made for brawling and gets a much better hull armor than the t100lt. Bc has the Clip for trade and for effective dpm, Sheridan has Alpha, etc. The lt is good, dont get me wrong. But it does Not make every other Medium or Light in the game obsolete. It will be strong in the Hands of a strong player. But for everyone else, its going to be like the t-22 med. People think its OP but then they suck in it.
@@xfluffytraxy4996 you're not getting the point. Sure, are these tanks better at one thing? Sure. But why would I run those tanks that do one thing "better" when I can run 1 tank that does all of that just slightly worse? The E100 is a perfect example. It's pointless now that the 60tp is out. Does it do certain things better? Sure. But overall it is worse than the 60tp in almost every scenario
The tier 9 and 10 tanks new mechanic is pretty helpful and original, but only if the teams actually do something to take advantage which they almost never do
@@vodkavodka8903 On the fact of you not being able to peek out because you're spotted? Just like normally in a game? Or are you talking about being able to hit tracks and break them?
Im not so sure on the new mechanic. I mean the maps are so small you get spotted by every tank in the game anyway unless your shooting from across the map in a bush and even then you need to have them already spotted to shoot them. The new mechanic is basically "you get spotted for a longer time and you can spot for your team" which again doesn't make any sense because if you can see the enemy, so can your team. Once your spotted your spotted to everyone, this mechanic would work a lot better in the PC game and not the more CQC fast gameplay that Blitz offers
Hmm can i ask? does the ltg have a good turret armor? I'm in doubt, 0:33 It's like the turret got hit by a HE bullet. 0:39 hmm it looks like he blocks damage using a turret?
Wg , so I was playing in training rooms , and when the battle finished , I got disconnected , and when I tried to log in again , I couldn’t log in. And now I can’t play wotb
DANG good update I recommend you add a adding list well you have but something were you can search up a username and give links to your diffrent game accounts to know it's you this will help us 1:06 is really useful well around that area
Hey WG, even though I think the spotting mechanic is a little too strong, I think you are really trying hard with these new tanks and updates and are making the game interesting. Maybe a slight nerf is in order, but it still seems cool and I appreciate the effort. Thanks for all of the great things in the past like f2p events and PBR graphics, and I hope they keep coming this year :)
There is no issue. HE and and HEAT shells dissipate at the first Thing they Hit. Thats just how it is. And is one of the first Things you learn in the game.
@@radornic2387 well, then its just stupid to complain about it. Like "omg fix your train cart WG, i cant shoot through them. And the house corners. Totally unrealistic" Some people 🤦♂️
This new mechanic looks a little broken for real 20 seconds for an re camo is too long the yoh tier 9-10 have the track mechanic but its not broken like that ngl
I'd rather change tracer OP spotting function to somewhat 'targeting marker laser', i.e 'once hit, increase all allies average damage to affected tank, 5-20% for 10 sec', countering spall liner. or tracer as as one of LT crew skill
you enter every time there is something new in the store, it has to be for money, even a small tank and so you give something for free, you can give a tank once without a premium pass in these events or everything is for gold
they already have small maps and they add a new spotting mecanic to be spotted for 20 seconds, this will be a total disaster! instead of making the game easier for all they are making it harder. imagine youre a TD!
It won't make a difference. It doesn't work at blind hits, if you're spotted as a low armor TD before, you still back up and relocate anyways, and if you're a very heavily armored TD, it isn't a huge problem getting spotted anyways.
And they put it in the game with ridiculous spotting time. Wg, we all know how this will end, it's basically the Sheridan Missiles again, either nerf the extra spotting time to just 4-5 secs(14-15 secs total spotting time) or make so you NEED TO PEN in order to spot extra time. And plz do it ASAP.
fast, but small tanks... like the same size as some tier 4-5... this is lit my dream branch... lucky me, im currentally grinding the mt-25, so this came out at the PERFECT TIME! (EXITED)
I know I’m late to this chat but these lights are pretty much sneaky rats going around the map ( from what I’ve seen In WoT pc). I’d stick to the vickers light for spotting tanks, but the new mechanic is interesting
I would rather they add a new provision or consumables and call it optics or something with the mechanic of increasing view range/remaining time after being spotted with the draw back of decreasing camo values temporarily. But nah. Let's just add this new gimmick that is permanently attached to the 2 tanks and will surely not break tier 9 and 10 meta. At least make it a penetrating shot only so it'll be a bit skill demanding.
Already have the T54 ltwt, so reaching the rest won't take much time. T-100 was annoying but OP in PC, never got the chance to get it there so at least I'll have the chance to get it here
USSR Tech tree will looks with some empty slots. I have better options : . Medium tech tree VIII : T-44 IX : T-54 / Obj. 84 X : from T-54 to T-62A from Object 84 to Object 140 / from Object 84 T-100 LT. . Light tech tree VI : MT-25 VII : LTTB VIII : you could put LTG here instead of VII tier , T-54 ltwt. IX : from T-54 ltwt. to Object 84 from T-54 ltwt. to T-54 from LTG (If put that tank to gier VIII) to Object 84 . If LTG still on VII just add another LT/MT on tier VIII (for example change collector/premium tank to tech tree) and USSR branch could looks better.
The thing that most player's are over looking is that light tanks if you make one mistake you get punished for it harshly and yes while the t100-lt has a nice dpm its has a low to average damage per shot so this tank can only be used to its fullest potential in the hands of a competent player who now how to play a light tank with teir 10 being dominated by high alpha tds right now I think that this tank should be at a okay ish point in the game on release not to op and not to under powered remember that there are many tanks that do more then this new tank can do so what if they have a new mechanic it's a light tank that has like 1850 hp one shot from a 183 will wreck it completely so in short this tank is only for good players that now how to support there team's in a fight and if you make a mistake you will get punished for it
Looks like new tanks/upcoming tanks come with unique features but, what about already existing tanks? Wouldn't they receive special powers hmm WG? Do not forget about old power crept tanks. Some researchable tanks should be replaced with new ones that can be matched with the current meta. Look at the WoT PC. We blitz players also want to have a new experience. Do it for the good
It's not gonna break the game, but will probably turn it into a slog, check at 3:28 when the narrator says "no one wants to come out of cover spotted".
Thinking the same tho... No one needed this. No one will enjoy TDs anymore. No one will play'em anymore... And, this mechanic must be nerfed o removed... O in fact MAKE THE MAPS BIGGER AND MORE BALANCED TO BOTH SPAWNS.
Well in my late games there were a lot of 3 TDs per team and with their high camo, high alpha it's frustrating to play around. Current meta encouraged camping more than anything. At least with this new spotting mechanism I'm sure either they are unable to show themselves and poke without retaliation when aggressive teams pushing or they are heavily punished for camping in a single spot from start to finish because that's what they usually do 7/10 games.
Please WG, increase the HP for tank destroyers that are suppose to assault positions, using the armor and gun power, I'm using the AMX of tier 8 and it's just pain that with 3 shots my tank is gone, the armor is weak and can't even act like an assault tank
