These products look pretty good, thanks for sharing. I use the Decathlon bottle carrier along with a small under-saddle bag for tools. The retention looks fairly good but I remove bottle when folding having dumped contents a few times :(

We have been using some Decathlon products as well (as shown in our previous video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-GML5YFoNDJo.html )

Thanks, Pam and Gilbert! Maybe a question about the new mini-basket: would a 13" laptop fit inside (or say, iPad 12")? I really loved the old Brompton basket (back in 2013) which was very convenient/light when commuting to the office. This new Wotancraft basket (or the big version) looks interesting. I also recently got the same Grab'n Go front bottle pouch from Wotancraft (thanks to your previous videos!), and just used it this morning with my old electric Brompton 😊 Just a note for potential buyers; contrary to the old pouch, the new pouch doesn't have that soft cushion along it to "protect" the handlebar stem (mentioned in one of Pam and Gilbert's previous videos). Although, I'm not sure if it really matters, it's still a very convenient and high quality product! I got other Wotancraft items (like the Pilot 10L, new grab'n go, saddle and front pouches...), thanks to your reviews. Really good products! For people who are interested, I had no issue importing those products to the US (I think from Taiwan); and great customer service when I made a mistake in my shipping address... Can't wait to go on mini adventures with those and my future Brompton! (12 speed, pre-ordered...).

Nicolas, pre-ordered 12-speed! You will have to give us your feedback once you get it. On our side, we decided to go with a dual chainring instead. More on that in a future video. We suspect the soft cushioned padding was particularly aimed at the Birdy stem (which is adjustable). Less of an issue for the Brompton. Assuming an Apple 13 Pro (30.4 x 21.5cm, 12”x8 1/2”), it should fit in the Mini-Basket, but without any sleeve around it (aka a tight fit). IPad would be no problem (even with a neoprene sleeve).

@@2Bikes4Adventure Will do! But I’m not technical like you, just a casual commuter… 😊 I pre-ordered the T-Line 12 speeds, inspired by your deep-diving videos and adventures around the world! It should ship around end of March 2024 (from a store in California). This will be an upgrade compared to my old 2018 electric Brompton (~20kg to carry in the office…), which was itself an upgrade compared to my old 2013 Titanium Brompton (~15kg after tweaks…). It doesn’t necessarily make my non-biking wife happy though… 😅

@@mainicolas Just to jump in on this, my wife is planning to transplant the 14 speed Rohloff from her touring bike to her 2105 M6L. It will be a fair bit heavier as the Rohloff is a bit of a beast!

Great video guys. I also would like some advice: do you think an A-line is worth the money? I'm just interested in the fold to commute on the REM and possibly the metro so I don't think I'll need more than 3 gears. I also might consider upgrading it with a Switch e bike kit. I was going to get the mid handles anyway so that's not a problem. I was also thinking about the Dahon ei4 but I think the Brompton would be better for resale later. Thanks in advance and it's great to see yt creators from the greater Montreal area 😊

For many years, we toured with our (2nd hand) 3-speed Bromptons. Occasionally, we still use them (last year’s vacation in Florida for example) even though we do own 6-speeds now. As long as your route doesn’t require you to cycle up Mount Royal, you should be fine with a 3-speed. If you supplement it with a Swytch, hills will be even less of a problem. We haven’t had a chance to evaluate the Dahon ei4, this model (and the non-electric Curl) being rather rare in North America. Speaking of availability, not sure how easy it is to get an A-Line in Canada. A Brompton would certainly have a better resale value.
