I used to complain about that. Until they release the Ho-ri, sheridan and 60tp which has 680 alpha on their HE. Now i just pretend the low pen HE has boosted damage.
Stuff like the STB-1, Vickers Light, or M48 Patton are prob better with their gun compared to HEAT FV4202 which doesn't have much to offer, also the HESH gives the FV4202 around 3.8k to 4.1k DPM and 440 alpha so you can trade with lower alpha tank like the leopard 1 while still carrying the alpha and DPM advantage.
@@theweeknd2725 I was talking specifically about the hesh in the conway. My experience with hesh on the Charioteer and tier 9 centurion have been great.
waffle if you like sneaky sniper shots. call me a heretic, but i prefer the stock gun when i play the conway. I've never been good with HESH (HE on the stock is pretty sweet though) and the the top gun actually has 500 less DPM iirc than the stock, which is good since usually play this aggressively, as a backup to the meds where i flood everyone with DPM. as for the mantle, I've had so many bounces from it that i can't even comprehend how I'm getting them.
I think both tank are kinda equal, they both have good side and bad side Conway can support mt, lt allies at second line, with it 120mm gun or 5.5 inches gun with it decent mobility it can catch up with mt and lt, it also have improve engine boost It help you can play agressively Waffle is just sniping, cuz you have decent camo unlike conway, you can't play agressively as Conway cuz everyone will HE you
except for the camo, this thing's really good, i play it more than the Sh*tbarn. it's good mobility, and really good accuracy, aiming and DPM on the stock gun, not to mention the HE on that is pretty good too. as for the HESH gun, tried it but not my cup of tea
I mean yes u can bear a waffle in an 1v1 but u can't do 1k damage and 1200 with max role, I love both BTW and I play the Conway like a medium and that's what u should do like 3rd-2nd line med with either gun but of playing it as a td is also fun
Conway does 670 hesh, 770 cheap hesh. . .while Wt auf does 640 in it's standard shell. . .and He deals 960. . . Basically wt auf ap is comparable to conway hesh(which may miss or splash) on other hand. . .wt auf has german accuracy. Wt auf has awesome camo ratings and it's low profile. . .while Conway is bigger than avg heavies and relatively poor camo values. . .so Conway is just worse wt auf. . . that's just my opinion.
yeah, it's not really a good comparison. WT's playstyle is big alpha sniping, conway is more 2nd line pew pew machine (if you're running the stock gun)
@@chwbiker that's how it should be. prob is i don't seem to get even the average rolls on what appears to be pennable armor, it's as if I'm just doing splash
But the stock gun is way better, which isn't at all the same as the waffle's, and the top gun is worse than the waffle's. I mean the only real advantage is that amazing HESH, but with that you trade penetration for a lot of alpha, which maybe you could sometimes justify. However, then you just get more alpha than the stock gun, but less alpha than the other big guns, and not very good dpm, so you are left with HESH as the only plus. Although, I am not saying that the top gun isn't fun.
@@tiznaeshnishto2584 Most tier 9 tank destroyers specialize in Alpha, though it might be close to 50 50 but I believe more specialize in alpha, therefore the only special thing about the top gun is the HESH, because it still has much less alpha than the other big guns. So, if you only have 1 unique thing and sacrifice absolutely everything else, it isn't worth it. It comes to what is a better gun, and that is the stock one by far, though no one is stopping you from running the top one.
Yeah gun is worse than stock gun, it says 770 alpha but u get so many low roles like 600 or 540 even the app does more smh sometimes, but the other gun has dpm and I always get 500 roles, and u can reload twice as fast, so in 13.8 seconds u will do 1000+ instead of 700 or 680 when using the other gun
WT vs Conway WT has higher alpha Conway have 2 good guns WT is more accurate WT has higher concealment Conway has HESH WT has better reload WT has weird gun depression on the back Both have Spall Liner High concealmet is more than enough to make WT a lot better than Conway, hence WT can just surprised you right up.

Whattttt? The hessh gun is just pathetic compared to the waffle, 670 alpha?! Absolute trash. WT has 640 on ap which is basically the same with much better pen, I don't see the point of this hesh shell, other hesh guns have much better alpha but this one have just a little more than the ap alpha, so why even bother
