The Tortoise to me is a very hard tank to balance if WG try to balance it to be able to work fairly against tier 10s than it will destroy the Tier 8s and if they try to balance it for Tier 8s than it gets destroyed in tier 10.
@@Realfuckingvampire It really isn't that easy. It's too complicated to explain it. But I'll try. I've played the Tortoise quite a lot, so I know my shit when it comes to if it's balanced or not. And I tell you, it's complicated. Buff it's gun significantly but nerf it's armor and it'll become a DPM beast, nerf it's gun but buff it's armor significantly, and it'll become a *LITERAL* tortoise. If you give it even just _slightly_ more nerfs than buffs, then it's gonna be a shitty tank. But if you give in even just a _little more_ buffs than nerfs, then it's gonna be absolutely broken.
@@ember2933 my opinion is that buff the super structures so that people will at least need gold to pen it just like the t95. And it still has that bs cupola on top so that's will still be a weakspot
@@ember2933 Not as complicated you think. After all it’s a slow turret-less tank. That being said I think the gun is good but I would buff the armor. Quite too easy to penetrate especially with gold. Also this is the last consistent tank you can use on that line since we all know what is 183. So it should stand against tier X a bit more than other tier IX. In the end it’s still easy to counter.
Tortoise is really hard to play with I always died first or deal the least damage, its kinda sucks seeing my Win rate decreasing and harder to grind using this tank
You need team support, which can be tough at times because it's slow. Armour is good, and gun is great. It can do very well on the right map and circumstances. Might not be everyone's cup of tea, but I enjoy playing it, and it got me to the death star, who's armour isn't anywhere near so good.
You have to hide it by going left of a building or peaking over a hill, or fight the enemy from range so their shot isn't easy. If you hide the hatch the frontal armour is OP.
Tortoise has no armour whatsoever and the top speed of 20 is just disgusting. After Jagtiger got tungsten in 10.3 there is no reason AT ALL to play in the tortoise. Even before the Jagtiger's buff, tortoise was shit compared to it. The tortoise needs stronger armour (premium shells can butter through the tortoise), hatch removed or shortened, a top speed of 25-28, nerf the dpm about 300-450 and voila it will be perfect.
The way to use Tortoise correctly is 1) Sell your Concept 1B 2) Sell your Type 71 and 3) Sell away Badger because you are the Based Unicum and not the average cringy man. To be better than them. You have to use Tortoise like Dreadnoughts, it being more deadly the close it gets. It’s an alternative version of T95 this doesn’t means you should drive like T95 that’s the Cringy way doing it. Tortoise must angle at all times and hide that big tumor at the top. This is the easiest thing to do as Tortoise, if you failed to do so. I have a bad news that you should sell your account and never play any tank games again. Because you are a failure of all tankers out there who doesn’t even know how tanks works. Anyway, if you manage to angle as Tortoise correctly then congratulations, you are finally become a human being in Blitz and earn respect on any good players out there. Don’t be a Scrubs sniping from a far or else better uninstall the game. You have to be the Giga Chad and always being manly, don’t be a little Pu- *Technical Difficulties* Next is Tortoise Gun, which is the best feature on this thing, you keeo spamming it towards the enemy, until they are dead. That’s all you have to play as Tortoise, angling the correct corner and keep spamming 120mm gun at the choke point. Rock and House are like your Waifu, keep hugging them like you hugging your god damn Waifu or Your Fursona (if you are that disgraceful.) If you are not one of these degenerates then I,ll say keep hugging it just like your wife hugging to another man. It sounds cruel to said Uninstall the game if you don’t have knowledge of angling. But this is the most generous thing I can say. Because if I am more Crueler than that, I’ll just asking you to get your education from kindergarten again. Because this is the most basic things you can learn, even a toddler can understand how angling works. If I can understand that since in my mother’s womb then you should be able to too. Oh and this tank have 120mm of HE pen. It has better HE pen than a 215B so there’s no point driving 215B or Con. Hence tortoise is just clearly better if you know how to use it. And when I say 120mm HE pen, I doesn’t include the Calli build.
After researching out almost all t10 and having almost all t8 premiums, platinum player deleted blitz after 7 years of playing. I don’t see the point in playing anymore, the maps are boring, small, you take 183 wanna play safe, the enemy sherik spotts you from their respawn, you take the leopard you want to play from distance thanks to accuracy and armor * - but nah fam u don't have room, the only really good map is castilla ) poor matchmaking, a lot of afk, you think these ducks or thumbs down give something ..) it seems like a rare tank as a concept you buy they say a rare collectible and it is again for sale every 3-4 months)) on the euroserver from 57 drawback to 55%, all couch politicians, goodbye once beloved game. It's time for Wargaming to retire. Play AAA games )
