this was the best fucking gift the gaming world could have given me, man i fucking miss this. Once this part of the lore got over i just couldn't go on playing the game. A fucking surreal world, one of the fucking best times ever.
the new expansion comming up will change all that, so level your toons if you still have your account, and get ready to feel the fun again , wow will always be king of the mmo
junito1957 well 2 hours of wait for logging in because i moved from a dead server that i could always login doing mop and now i just can't enjoy and play the new expansion also "world server is down" "character with that name exist" "aborted cannot get to your fucking garrison"
I enjoyed every single time I listened to this in the last few months. Now that WOTLK classic is over... I'm heartbroken a second time. I already miss this music masterpiece. The opera is so powerful !!
remember when you would "enter world" and there would be that BWWWAAAAAAH sound when clicked it? that was the best and I swear I shivered every time I heard it.
I think my best wow memeories and epic feelings is in wotlk. also it's where dragons got heavily intreduced and i really like dragons. my only regret is that i started getting interested in raiding of wotlk content to late. also i miss the old blood dk dps.
also the music back then were truely perfect really gave chills down the spine and the expansion fit so good since it kinda gave reminders to wc3 the frozen throne.
I miss this login screen. Wotlk, in my opinion was the best expansion. Getting the full ICC Warrior tier set. Hunters used intellect. No LFR. Seeing the first guy to get Shadowmourn on my server. I miss old Wow. Hopefully Legion will fix what Wod did. If Legion fails, I will quit Wow forever.
+Americansauce Wod was the end, Mop was the begging of the end, Legion wont fix shit , it wont change the fact that LFR AND LFG Systems still exist and u instantly teleport everywhere and kill the entire mmo aspect, lets not forget fucking flying mounts everywhere and no world PVP or meeting new friends on the road to a dungeon (which btw u can just fucking tp to) ,... as long as that shit exist wow will never be enjoyable as it once was.
+Dark Knight yeh i remember traveling to the raids/dungeons which made it feel like an rpg game. now u can just sit it orgrimmar and get everything done....
I recognize these songs 0:38 - 2:01 Legends of Azeroth mixed with Utgarde Pinnacle 4:14 - 5:26 Sunwell Plateau (outside) 5:27 - 6:48 Magister's Terrace (music in scrying orb cutscene) 6:48 - 7:30 Black Temple Illidari music 7:30 - 8:06 Call to Arms 8:07 - 8:27 another Black Temple music
this music... i remember i was 11 years old and always played with my father and now he dosn't live anymore.... this game will always be the one and only game that will the favorite of my even now for ever
Quite different from what it used to though - but I guess that's evolution for you. I've played since the classic late beta stages (I had a preorder box with a code for beta test) - stopped no lifing on it after the Cataclysm nerfed its own instances, dropped it right before Firelands. Resumed during Throne of Thunder. Stopped again a couple of weeks after the opening of Highmaul. Returned by the end of 6.2 - lived through the painstakingly long and boring 6.3 in its entirety through 7.1.5 - I stopped like a day before Nighthold. Returned in 7.3. Been playing again fully since then. Started no lifing again this month. Probably will stay for the whole 8.0 BFA experience - burn myself out playing too much and return later. It's been really on and off since Cataclysm. All this to say - yes it's still a great game, and fortunately for me it tends to drain you a little less into playing it for entire nights.
@Salman Hussam H. Linjawi Honestly I'm not subbed at the moment but I disagree. I've had a blast with my new Dark Iron Fury Warrior. And I mostly RP regardless these days so actual content is of little relevance to me as long as I get a lot of land. And the land in BFA is breathtaking. Nah really, I get the boredom from the World quests and the distasteful loot system, but it actually has good content in droves. The dungeons are awesome - didn't play much M+ this year but I guess this is as good if not better than it was in Legion. The raids I can't speak for since I never even stepped into one in BFA. The PvP is ... not in a great spot but it's decent for casual play. Just don't try to grind a proper rank it's gonna drive you nuts in the current meta. There's warfronts - and Islands which are cool too, not counting the weekly events such as Timewalking ... Nah really, even though I've dropped BFA for Classic it's not bad at all. Will go back to it to keep RPing with my guild, but even though I prefer Classic in many aspects, BFA is not a bad game at all. But the game can be as good as it can and still feel hollow if you don't get that community to interact in a good way like in Classic. I'll hope they'll draw the right conclusions from Classic looking onward and try to rekindle that community feeling. Then and only then will the current game regain its shine. Even if the content isn't objectively as good.
I was 9 when i first saw the screen of my brother, i saw the dragon and thought "That's so cool" then i saw my brother playing, and i wanted to play too, but my father wouldn't let me, because i was too young and a 'girl'. After years i saw my brothers playing this and Cataclysm, and all i could do was watch. But FINALLY at age 13 my dad let me play, at the moment, Pandaria was the expansion, so yeah.
Heh, I just got WoW back...but I started a mini war when I attacked an alliance player on my mom's character when I was 5-ish. Then I started playing, I still have my level 50 something Tauren Druid...my first character
First time i ever played wow was with this login screen. The music and cinematic of the login screen brings back memories. Love the feelings I get when listening to it.
this will always be me favourite expansion. I loved everything about it, music, gear sets, raids, dungeons. even today I still farm ICC for those set items cuz they look so good
..... I am not crying! I just have something in my eyes! Called WATER (Tears)! You are crying because you played Wotlk! Same as I did..... those innocent years of fun and joy..... those years when the game was the best..... my first time playing world of Warcraft
Never will I ever memorize a song in it's every Melody when trying to load wow on a big box computer. Even with my bad lag and horrid fps. This game, this expansion was still a masterpiece to me. Long live Warcraft and it's amazing music. ❤️
We need WoW 2 a "FRESH START" in Vanilla with BFA graphic, same quests but Improved and polished with new mechanics! (NO DRASTIC CHANGE). Old same music! It will ignite the passion once again as playing the game for the first time!
The first expansion I and my older brother played back in 2010. I just quit my kindergarden and they had a day program for the kids and their families. My bro got sick after playing football with the other kids' older bros and while I stayed there for the night, he went home and while having fever, he had Wotlk installed. He had to leave the PC on during the night for it to complete lol. The next day when I got home, we played this masterpiece of a game for the first time.
I remember the time i joined WoW, it was during late WotLK and this is the Login Screen i was met with when i first launched my game a cold unforgiving landscape, damn fine music and a Frostwyrm flying around, every other login screen after this has been unimpressive
7:34 BOYS ! Oh my god, so much nostalgia, when I listen to this part of music, I feel like someone's doing an epic speech and i'm like jumping from a cliff to land on a Griffon #WarcraftMovie
If I was able to create a time machine that would let me relive any era in history one more time. It would be 2008-2010 and I'd spend the entirety of it logged into WoW.
7:59 I am still listening to this on my way to and from work nearly 10 years later. This was the kind of effect Blizzard had on people back then. Now I just want to be done with boring power systems so I can move on to the next one.
Memmory's are coming back as a little kid i loved listening to this music and playing the whole deathKnight class/story know i just do not play DK's nomore gave up =( LOVE the music though ALOT
Let WoW go, and remember all the fun times you had in Azeroth, Outland and Dreanor. Unfortunately, the game is gone beyond repair at this point. I remember, at this point, ppl were so happy with the game. We still had old blizz and didn't know anything about activision. Northrend was so freakin cool when it first dropped (still is). I remember one morning I got up and I was gonna spend the whole day farming the TLPD, and after just 5 min sitting there the fatty spawns right next to me! I got a bigger adrenaline rush then I did snorting meth for the first time (I don't do it anymore just saying though that's how much of an impact this game had on people). I used the broken trade mechanic on epics to do VoA runs and would sell the epics I rolled on to other ppl for like 2k each til I had 80k saved, and used it to get ToC 10m heroic no deaths mount for 10k, and the Glory of ICC Raider 10m for 50k (We all thought they were gonna take those mounts out of the game after the expansion was over, especially after they took the Black and Plagued Proto Drakes out when Ulduar dropped). Good fuckin times, man. I been playing WC since WC3 in 2003. I started playing WoW during TBC. It was so cool back then, the idea of fighting Kel Thuzad. I saw a RU-vid video of the fight and I thought "Damn, if that one unit from WC3 is a powerful boss, then this game's gonna be amazing, being some random nobody who goes out and saves Azeroth" that was the whole point I loved being the nobody character who built myself from rags to riches. Here's my order of gameplay for the expansions: 1. TBC 2. Wrath 3. Vanilla 4. Legion 5. MoP 6. Cata 7. WoD Everything after this doesn't register to me and I just don't care to rate past this point!!
