Gordon was also better, bigger, and younger than the players you want to trade for and fit their timeline while only giving up 1 first.

Hey I'm pretty sure Denver didn't give up a 1st for Pope (who is the same sort of level of player you want to give up a first for). Bball Ref: July 6, 2022: Traded by the Washington Wizards with Ish Smith to the Denver Nuggets for Will Barton and Monte Morris. Long story short, I would only do the trailblazers trade. I see that working without a hitch. Compared to the mess you guys made with the nets and Wiz.

"When they're not worth something you've got to give up real assets." yeah that's why you don't panick after 2 near wins against great teams on the road and sell low on a slumping player in panic mode when your superstars are just entering their prime, leveraging your entire future for barely starter level 30 year old players.

Wiggins needs to have a pick attached cause he's got a $33 million dollar salary increasing for 4 years with a player option and he's scoring 12 ppg on 42/29/68. I'd say yeah he needs at least one pick attached. Don't act like that's crazy.

"I'd do this in a heartbeat." Never let this man anywhere near Monte for the love of god. Monte would get fired for a trade this bad. You wouldn't even see something this embarrassing out of Nets reddit.

You just don't understand the market... That's all.. Barnes at this point is deemed a negative contract. Wiggins is deemed a bad contract. In most cases you have to attach a pick to them...

@@CowbellkingdomTV those players aren't as good and are older than when the Nuggets traded for KCP and Gordon. You want to trade a 31 year old Barnes for 30 year olds on the same imminent downward career arc.
