💯! When I visited the month of Nov., it was very clear to me that, in general, the avg Colombian is MUCH healthier than her/his US counterpart. I esp. noticed this in people my age, 66, or older. They look great! Where many of my friends my age in US have increasing medical challenges, and often financial ones come with them, pathetically. For many of the reasons you so eloquently and enthusiastically share, I too am looking forward to living my life in Colombia, if they will have me. Hopefully July. 💜
Went down to Las Vegas to see The Sphere. Was walking from the airport to a motel and crossed an empty lot. I looked up and the sign said something like: "This is where 60 people were slaughtered by a sniper from a hotel room across the street." Before I finished the sentence, I ducked. Even though this happened 2 years before, it could happen anywhere here anytime: at an iHop, a mall, a grammar, middle or high school, a post office, a corner of a street, or at a electronic festival with hundreds of people dancing for joy.
