This is great cuz Aaron recently was asked who he hated going up against the most - and he immediately said "Eagles....Jason Fn Kelce would constantly slide and help, I'd be lucky to get 2 or 3 shots at QB all game"
@@dexterwestin3747Jones was better last year and he better stats this year despite him playing one game and Donald playing 3 this ain’t a lifetime achievement award
@@isaiahmcconnell yeah they don't really care about your opinion lil bro. 95% of players are gonna say Donald, they actually play against these guys. The fear factor is no joke I say this as a Chiefs and Chris Jones fan
Arron donald is so good hes found a way to become underrated i never got to see lawrence taylor play sadly but donald is right behind him the impact donald has on that line is unmatched and this is from a seahawks fan dudes a delight to watch
Couldnt imagine what donald could have been if he played during lawrence taylors era with those rules but regaurdless donald and reggie white are the 2 dlinemen that id start with
@@Kobamaron13 LT was an absolute terrorist, there is more than enough tape ppl can watch. the only fair point i would make is i think the average o-lineman in the NFL today is athletically a tier above the guys LT was dominating. it does not change much tho. LT does what he does in any era.
Now this is a good interview, asking a guy who had to block both men that question. You know the answer is honest and true!! This is how opinions become facts when the people who do what it is in the question your asking! Love this
Stop it. 1 on 1 Donald destroys Kelce all game. He literally admitted himself they double not because of the side he’s on but because he’s Arron Donald. Everyone doubles AD.
Believe it or not, Jason is bigger than Donald but just as fast, just as quick. I was VERY surprised to learn this. But his 40 is almost identical, his 3 cone drill amd his 20 shuttle is actually faster than Aarons. I didn't know Kelce was that athletic.
Come to the dark side. The great thing about American football is that there are so many different games being played within the one game. Lineman vs lineman, secondaries playing their own game against various packages, etc., it’s truly an amazing sport.
The wild part is on most double teams Aaron Donald is still dominant he understands you have to pick one to tee off on to change levels then just get your hips through violence is the key as well he has the best get off out of any defensive lineman in the league and I love it
Cincinnati fan. Before the Super Bowl i told everyone “if y’all don’t know, 99 is a fucking game wrecker” and when he got pissed off i said now why in tf would they make him mad
Man it was always the worst when you thought you was getting the guard 1 on 1. Till that mf center or running back chip the shit out of yo ass or just straight doubles. End up 5 yards off the line scrimmage with coach just shaking head
That's why C is the best position. You have one job and that's protect the ball at all costs. Outside of that you have complete autonomy and half the offense answers to you,
@@AndyfnB I was an outside backer. I didn’t have to deal with center very often. Mainly pulling guards or tackles to outside zone runs coming to my side. My middle definitely had a lot of fun with centers getting into the second level to seal him out. Felt bad in film whenever they would be in an I, with the center chipping the DT then proceeding to advance to the middle with a full back and running back right behind him. Glad it wasn’t me
And neither one of them wanna go up against him. This dude is an undersized center in an era of freakishly huge and freakishly athletic D linemen. But yet was still the best center in football for ten plus years. As an Eagles fan I’m gonna really miss him man. But I am thankful that I got to witness his legendary Super Bowl parade speech in person. True Fuckin legend.
Don’t need to be PC Jason. If the Chiefs get a Chance to pick from those 2 they are picking AD. This is not a shade at Jones, it’s just that AD is that dude.
As an eagles fan this hurts me to say but with all due respect to Reggie white Aaron Donald is the greatest defensive lineman in the history of the game and it’s a disgrace that he was left off the latest anniversary team
So funny because even at the end of his career,,, zero sacks allowed from either of those two. Also zero sacks allowed against vita vea who he played twice last yr
if teams would actually stop double teaming him and just 1 on 1 he would genuinely average prolly 3 sacks a game the only reason he had 8 sacks is cause when he got to the qb this year they either threw the ball away or they triple teamed him
People be shitting on Donald based off stats alone but they don’t see where he gets held every play, gets triple teamed now, and because of that he opens up room for the others. Kobie turner and bryon young both lead all rookies in sacks tied with 5 or 5.5 and it’s not even week 16
Jones and Redick caused the most havoc in the playoffs. Bosa is a monster too but Jones has least help, u can’t name 5 players on that d 😂 amazing. Redick had the best numbers and wasn’t even top four 😂 two sacks n FF against Bosa squad in playoffs last year he and Jones kept it rolling.
Donald in his prime had to be double and triple team. Jones isn’t on that level yet he show signs at times but not in the same category yet as far as being that dog that gets in the back field everytime he has a chance to
Aarons mad cause hes literally nvr been a factor in an eagles game ever like ive nvr seen em get a sack and we play eachother what seems like every year
