Super stoked for George and his channel, but that looked a blast. Just imagine what it would be like in the summer months with semi slicks. Full on grip.
That combo actually works. The fitment is on point and they look pretty good too. Was interesting to observe the change in grip levels with this setup. Subbed to George.
Very fun lap, it could be cool to see Robert driving it , to see his reaction... Like the apex team mood, like your vids, keep it up Misha . Big up from France. An old subsciber.
A comparison between the tire&wheel this set replaced, the differential in terms of weight and rolling diameter would be a nice inclusion. A couple of extra kilograms each corner has a huge detrimental impact to acceleration on any automobile, even more so on the underpowered.
Also I’d recommend running a 225 instead of a 235 the grip levels will still be massively improved over the stock 195 or 205 stock size. But you will loose the slight rubbing your getting in high load corners. On the plus side you’ll probably need replacements after that lap scrubbing away 🤣🤣
i tried 18" wheels with pilot cup 2 tires (from a friend´s mk7 gti) on my 2011 seat leon 1.8tsi. I couldnt belive how much grip it had, it was just stupid, i felt that y could turn at each corner at 160km/h hahaha
Hey Misha, heard you mention the tractor has a TT rack. How did you get around the steering angle sensor issue? I have to pull the abs fuse on track days.
Should run a 15mm spacer on the rears also guys. I run 20mm front and 25mm rear with 8.5j wheels on my b6 avant let’s just say it’s ultra flush yet no rub 😎😎
@@mgcharoudin i just noticed that in the thumbnail , oops sorry i just woke up and wasn't fully paying attention. there was film of his car around christmas time with UK plates and i assumed it was still the same.
Misha I just told darkside that your tdi build will be perfect in the r8 they are about to build!!!! However your rim choice on the tractor is a no in my opinion you should look for the rim on the 2012 high line model 😂🤣
I installed bilstein b14 coilovers and powerflex front control bushings and had it aligned today but the steering is waay of. When i press the clutch the car pulls to the left and under power it pulls right, everything is tight. Could this be caused by the tyres?
