I'm glad i watched this review and went ahead and bought my Honda Vezel hybrid.. 11 months now and I'm glad i chose this car. No regrets whatsoever Especially if the fact that it's my first car, i am impressed
From a Vezel owner, the non hybrid Vezel doesn’t do justice to this car. The Hybrid one is super classy, very fuel efficient, the Dual Clutch transmission is very fun to drive, and you’ve got a range of drive options including Sports mode, it also more powerful and faster. Does 0-100 in 10.7 seconds. The hybrid is better in every way possible In the comments I have noted there’s concern about insurance companies not insuring the Vezel. I use GA insurance, they never had any issues with insuring it I would totally recommend this car. But the hybrid one. The cost factor is offset by the fuel economy. On a highway drive, the hybrid comfortably tops 24km to the litre. In traffic and in the city, it does close to 30km/l
@@destroyerarmor2846 none that I have experienced so far or know of. As I said, it’s fun to drive. Especially on sports mode and using the paddle shifts
From a Honda Fit Hybrid 2014 owner, which happens to share the same engine with the Honda Vezel Hybrid, my concern is the DCT gear box, which is powerful but very fragile....just 3 months with the a new car and the DCT has stopped working...... planning to have it replaced, 150k plus 🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️
This car is a hit in Japan, am in Tokyo and I spot it often on Japanese roads, which tells you a lot about the quality of the car and its likeability. I am definitely getting one for myself.
Another great video Erick with a CK. Avid viewer here all the way from Zambia. Interestingly, the models available on the Zambian market are very similar to the Kenyan market so I find your videos very useful. Keep it up! As for the Vezel, I think it's a perfect mix of compact SUV practicality with fuel economy second to none but the price is too high. Also I've read a couple of articles detailing problems people have had with the dual clutch mechanism in the hybrid versions after the 100,000km mark. Kindly requesting for a review of the Mitsubishi RVR, pre-2013 preferably as they are more affordable, thanks in advance.
Some insurance Co. have issues insuring some Honda cars including the vezel due to expensive and rarely available spares. Without this factor I'd go for the vezel.
But on value for money, is it fair to compare it with the RVR? I've never seen a good review of that car. If a car is better qua definitely you must expect a higher price tag. Wewe unataka ku compare Cuban cigar na Rooster?
Hey Erick with a ck... Can you please do a review of the peugeot 2008 2014 - 2015 model its a compact suv under 1.5m and compare it with some of its class
Bro, I like the good work you doing. we used to follow wazungus for car reviews and we have one of our own. Now, Can you please review Peugeot 3008 and 5008 please.
It's like you read my mind. This is the car I have been thinking of getting and had compared it to the juke. If given escudo and this, which would you pick?

Most insurance companies shy away from insuring the vezel because it's relatively new in the market and spare parts are not only unavailable, they are stupidly expensive
True. The vezel & the Honda Grace have very expensive parts. Had a small accident in July 2023 & the insurer is considering writing it off due to the high costs of parts
