Little Mac is a normal human though, and he has a double jump. In head canon if you want to get into Smash then you would already have a double jump, but you're gonna need something clever to have as a recovery.
i like to think if you go in a video game world or anime world the logic there applies, youd have double jumps, some sort of b move (maybe not), and powers of some sort albet not noticable so its kinda like being a low tier character. Might as well be Mac's slow echo.

Piranha Plant may just be a bad idea, if it stucked in a pipe then it is doable with some prep time, but if is the completely movile Smash version you would get destroyed, and then consumed.
I dunno about Joker, max stats Joker who regularly works out while having actual combat experience and the third eye, even if the gun isn't real I don't want to fight that guy.
Except Olimar, because he's is literally smaller than a cherry (in the pikmin games, in smash it would be harder but I still think it would be possible)
Even in the games he causes large explosions on a regular basis and destroys robots just by running through them. At bare minimum he's much stronger then any human could ever hope to be even in his base form (i don't believe the planet level base Sonic claims btw)

You missed a crucial detail with Mega Man: He can’t violate the Laws of Robotics. The only danger he poses to a human is you hurting your own knuckles punching his metal face. Also, with Duck Hunt: You may be able to take a dog and a duck, but there’s also a third guy with (presumably, as we never actually see what kind of gun he’s using) a hunting rifle. You’d land one hit and then die.
I wouldn't fight Kirby for 2 reasons. 1. He's too cute. 2. He would inhale me into his mouth and erase me from existence like the multiple gods he has slain before.

When it comes to people like Falcon, the Shotos, Little Mac, Mega Man, Samus, Link, and Snake, I'd want to fight them in a friendly spar. Not a fight to the death, but a match where I can get styled on safely and pick up some tips on fighting with their weapon or martial art.

I would fight Link. I'd lose hands down, but I would probably enjoy it. I would also fight Kirby. I would sneak up behind him, grab him, squeeze him, put him down, kiss him on the head, and give him some cake.
I would be hammer-out of existence in a moment if i fight kirby, and link? I would just ask him "Man, How bad is to see your beloved ones die, and you die, but you revive together to the person that kill your beloved ones? Even if you DON'T accept this fate?" @Xavior weak in comparison to some of the other cast members. He would still wreck any normal human in a fistfight, but against the likes of the kirby characters, Bayonetta, and even most of the mario crew, he's not THAT physically strong. Now Hyper Sonic on the other hand....

Try to attack? Boom he's dodged, slowed down time, and before you can blink there's a sword through your chest. Don't try to attack? Boom you're frozen in place with Stasis+ and there's a sword through your chest.

Koopalings can jump high, they can do magic tricks and bowser jr can breathe fire balls, they also have access to koopa technology add that on top of the fact that they're all turtles with spikes on their shells and boom now you don't want to fight them anymore
