Would you go around the world onboard this yacht??? 

Alexi is building explorer yachts that don't look like the traditionally boxy trawler style ship. Pretty sure it has fore and aft Seakeepers, highlighting the stability of his displacement engineering, with the tall furnishing adornments just free sitting on tables like in a home. Comfort and safety in style.

Thanks for the tour Tristan & Alexei. Bering is definitely my favorite explorer yacht brand. After seeing behind the scenes of various Bering yachts under construction & the level of detail & the quality of construction of Bering yachts on NautiStyles & on NautiGuys (Victoria & Rico's channels of course), not to mention following along with the construction of the Bering 75 Victoria & Rico are building for themselves, I would have no problem with owning and/or cruising around the world on a Bering. If you haven't watched the two part walk through tour Alexei does with Victoria & Rico on a Bering 145 Hybrid that was under construction on NautiStyles (uploaded a year ago) to see what goes into the construction of Berings then definitely check it out.

​​@@ulrichkristensen4087that's a relatively bogus argument that you gotta be able to do something that the boat was never engineered to do. It's a full displacement yacht, it's always going to suffer "a speed penalty" of maybe 13 - 15 knots max as it's not a planing hull formula. I'm sure there are other "planing hull" designs that will go faster, but Bering doesn't build that type of hull. Not to mention you need to trip plan better to avoid mid Atlantic storms. You do not need to outrun them.

@@ulrichkristensen4087 yeah, I know, my comment wasn't necessarily meant for you, but the OP didn't get that apparently. But better trip planning could obviously avoid the "nasty stuff" as well as possibly riding out the light squalls.

You do not want 2 hulls rubbing against each other, no matter what each are made of, hence why they've got fenders to protect the superyacht from a dingy rubbing on its paint.

@@Rob_Moilanen Understood, but aren't the fenders and dingy made of the same thing? Or is it because the fenders roll and the dingy rubs?

@@Glofilter yes but the fenders are covered in terrycloth to prevent chafing against either hull. Some hulls also use fiberglass rod standoffs to hold the "dingy" out away from the hulls too. That's probably why you're not a yacht person if you're always jetting around the world.

@@Rob_Moilanen I wish I could afford a jet, it would save time, but with 68 countries visited I'm trying to find Utopia. No luck so far.

@@MENSA.lady2 TBH, you're never going to find Utopia flying around the world at damn near .95 Mach. But if you slow down a bit you might just find it. Cause that is what Explorer yachts were built for.

Alexei mentioned it was a one of one design, The B92 is not in the line of boats that they normally build.

@@marlonholt40 have you ever heard of Orcas attacking a boat that large? It's never happened that I know of, "here's your sign."

@@Rob_Moilanen I dont know the exact size but from what I could see, it was not a tiny boat and the attack appeared to be very calculated according to investigating scientist. The captain was able to radio in for help, no one was hurt. Another was a crossing for a owner, the whales seem to know where to attack and sound could be a trigger, water came in below . Scientist stated it could be a learned behavior.

Hence why the B92 is not one of the yachts that Bering normally builds. It was a custom one of build.
