The proper way to ship a record is to remove everything from the cover including the record, sleeve, inserts, etc and lay them on top of each other with a layer of padding such as piece of that foam or even paper. Shipping record inside cover can lead to outline of record pressed into cover.

What sizes are those record boxes and do you buy in bulk? I find that’s the only caveat to record shipping is an appropriate box and ones designed specifically for record shipping can be cost prohibitive. I’d love an alternative to them.

My shipping method pretty similar I bubble wrap, then I have 2 cardboard slabs I put on both sides and I use some tape on 4 middle areas, then I slide it in poly mailer. No issues so far and it usually keeps it under 1lb. Though I've been sending media mail a bit lately.

Magic eraser will whiten the heels of those white shoes the rest of the way. They will look new.

Shipping albums - record stores recycle or GIVE AWAY their old boxes. They are smaller and built for shipping records. Hardest part is finding a local record store…

I love the bins! The only thing I'm afraid of when I find something new with tags is that they have a flaw. One time I brought home a pair of jeans only to realize when I was getting ready to photograph was that the stitching was all messed up!! So now I'm extra careful checking things that are NWT's. The closest Bins to me is in Louisville Ky, about 2 1/2 hours away from me. I haven't been there yet. My daughter and I went to Jekyll Island this summer and went to our first Bins in Brunswick GA. I'm more than ready to go to another one.
