Oh my gosh !!!! Well done and NO…I probably would not have tried to tackle that …but maybe with power tools 🤔🤔🤔🤔. Nope ! Not even power tools! LOL!!! The slats would have cancelled my desire. It is BEAUTIFUL and someone got an excellent piece ! At first I thought maybe someone turned a “baby changing table “ into an island because of the legs. That definitely was a mystery piece…. I had.one just like that yrs ago and let it go with the sell of my house. It was stained dark walnut and the baskets were to. I loved it it was a house warming gift. Wood tone top.

You Always continue to Amaze me!! I tend to look at the structure of a piece (Al-tho I see the color too!!) Fantastic job on this piece!! Hard work & elbow grease/wax made her into a Beauty!!❤ the color is soo Gorgeous too!! My fav color!! Almost stopped by Hobby Lobby for pit berries & resin cup today-gonna do tomarrow. Grandson B-Day on Monday but celebrated Sat night with family and friends!! With a bonfire, cook out, birthday cake, etc!!

Gorgeous! I would've done this, but then I spent an entire Summer sanding a dresser (dumb), painted it green, used shellac in the drawers to get rid of the mildew smell after using sunlight, bleach, vodka and it STILL smells so it stays in the garden shed. Some pieces are winners, some are bummers! I strain my paint to use in my critter sprayer.

First one to comment :) I guess I just don't have the want to do that. I if I were goin to sell it yes I would. It turned out so good. There maybe someone out there crying 'cause it's gone already. You really know what colors and what will sell in your area.. I have always been scared to try to flip anything. It's a good thing I didn't because I have learned so much from you it would be so much better now for me to try something. My husband was a painter, and over the years we have done many, many spray rig experiments! Maybe make a small batch of paint and use a strainer bag when you pour it into the paint feed container, so there aren't chunks to plug things up, and then use the biggest holed tip you can! Definitely not a fine tip! LOL Good Luck! I'll be watching for this!

It always amazes me the change using the black wax. I used black wax on a refinishing project because of the transformations you have done. It made a huge difference. I went from thinking the stain was blah to loving it. Thanks.

Oh, oh so nice. Years ago i had this dresser my dad covered with brown ugly contact paper and i had a heck of a time removing that contact paper but i got it all off to find why he covered it but i sanded it down and repainted it to beautiful. So ugly can be beautiful..😊😊😊😊

I’m like you…I once bought a 6 seater farmhouse table & chairs that was painted MAUVE PINK with a crackle finish 🤦🏽‍♀️ It was $200 for the set and I was not passing it up! So after a bit of sanding, painting & staining, I gave it new life! That was 12 years ago and guess what, I’m getting ready to redo it again because my decor style has shifted some…paint fixes everything 🤣

I like the piece and go with the perfectly imperfect finish but I really don't like the milk paint. Despite saying that, the piece does look good. Milk paint is just not my thing.
