1:36 The best sound is her laughing at this foolishness. I am allergic to all this creative food. This reminds me right before i got married to my husband. His mom was beginning to get dementia (Alzheimer's) and she had made some kind of hot dog thing . The dogs were green not from food coloring but they had gone bad or were starting to. He shushed me and said eat it you will hurt her feelings. I said you eat it cause i am not getting food poisoning when i can help it. I will say from then on she never cooked another thing i did all the meal prep. I am not a good cook like my husband is but i never allowed her into the kitchen after that. We lost her years ago and this made me remember her and put a smile on my face.

On my tiny phone screen, I thought that was bbq sauce & shredded beef brisket chunks in the deviled eggs. Which is odd, but somehow still seems like a better combo for hardboiled eggs than pb & j.
I must confess to a secret wish of mine to someday make deviled eggs from century eggs, and the only way anyone else sees them is if I'm invited to a Hallowe'en party and encouraged to bring "spooky" food.
