The Essence of the Dragon God attack works like this... A single input will perform the normal, non-vanishing version. A second input after the first, you'll do a slow teleport behind them, allowing you to dodge ranged attacks or beams. A third will have you vanish much faster, nearly as soon as you press the button, the attack will teleport and strike.
I mean that’s cool and all but isn’t it an ultimate, why would it need to dodge a beam but the teleport is still good though and having the option to choose between the two is nice
You know, between Rhyme thinking that Jumping doesn't exist in base XV2 and him thinking that Vegeta heavy-smashing his Do or Die was some special guard break move, I'm convinced that he has little to no clue how unmodded XV2 actually works...
And yet he blames Levi for giving him a “special attack” Bro even Hercule would have done that lol. The same for “one inch punch” where he thinks it’s a counter, but no, it’s literally a massive constant grab hitbox in front of him that also gives him armor. The only reason Doto struggles is because he doesn’t put on broken moves and healing super souls. Anyone can put on Rhyme’s moves and win.
@@InsightReasoningYeah one inch punch also stuns the enemy for long enough that he gets to do anything he wants. It's broken (and yet he calls Time Skip Fracture his broken move). He basically beat Orange Piccolo with it alone, and damn near all the damage he did to the enemies is One Inch Punch into Energy Volley or Fracture. He has no reason to complain about oneshots or broken moves when he cheesed pretty much everybody.
@@InsightReasoning well no, not if they're an idiot who doesn't know that stuff, or if Levi decides to add instant kills, which are 50% of the time bugged I've noticed, it if he just decides to make something op for no reason like that buu hitting full map in his raid. Most people could definitely make it through this, but sometimes Levi just isn't fighting fair and it's bullshit. It's why I just don't because I don't trust it not to soft lock the game.
For the Essence of the Dragon God, it’s actually more of an homage to different moves from the series. None of the movements are directly pulled over save for the last hit, but it looks fantastic and I love it regardless. It starts with what looks like a mimic Komaki Tiger Drop for good measure (He’s not gonna sugarcoat it) to give that initial stun. It follows up into something akin to the Lotus Flare Palm, which also had knockback when fully charged. Then it heads next into something roughly reminiscent of the signature high kick from the original box art; very classy, always love to see it. Lastly, the true straight-up Essence of the Dragon God, which itself is an evolution of the Essence of the Dragon King from older games. This move was always Kiryu’s most powerful single Heat Action (a sort of super attack launched from certain situations with enough Heat, which is essentially a momentum meter charged by attacking enemies or other actions through certain skills), as the original Dragon King Essence was limited to being a follow-up to Stunning moves like the Komaki Parry. It’s most recent appearance was in Like a Dragon : Gaiden as the titular Essence of the Dragon God as Joryu’s strongest move, activated only at low health in Extreme Heat Mode (a system introduced in later games that consumes Heat while active but provides various benefits and new Heat Actions), but deals unparalleled damage. I love it and it looks sick to see something from Yakuza translated to Dragon Ball. I’d love to see more Heat Actions turned into supers if you can find any.
Honestly might be a hot take but I like the way Levi does these imo it makes it funnier and more entertaining than rhyme beating it in one session and not really struggling. I like the chance of a random character coming and hitting u with a one shot adds more tension to it
@@deltram It seems our faithful warriors have met their tragic end to- *looks at notecard* Broly, who will step up to take their place? Find out NEXT TI-
23:03 idk I like that the bosses get more health, it’s one of the few things that signifies an increase in strength in the raid. Otherwise you’re gonna have to buff the stats a ton and that won’t end well the longer it goes.
Lmaoooo bro i was not expecting Bardock to fly around like that using Rebellion Spear 🤣🤣🤣🤣 and it was on beat with the music playing in the background 😂😂😂8:55
Rhyme was talking about them not supposed to have more than 3 naturally when he does way over 1 bar of damage of off one unblockable attack (bosses should have more health then the player plus he heals all of the damage that they were doing)
Dragon God's a move that will hit after knock backs when there stamina is broken. Steedooj did a showcase on it. You should ask Levi to get you the Sukuna mod which is cool.
11:06 When your counter Green Card failed. Dino should be grateful that Levi wasn't devious enough to have Android 17 and 18 jump you again cause boy that would've been hilarious seeing the Androids turn back the clock
It would be sick if y'all made separate quests for each idiot. Like for example: Rhyme makes one for Doto, Doto for SeeReax and SeeReax for Rhyme. Could def be a hilarious set of videos.
If I am not mistaken the ai jumping thing has been in the game since the end of z bonus fight where you get goku’s gi but they never implemented it anywhere else. I had to spam counters to win because Goku and Uub jump you pretty hard
