Season chicken - salt and pepper Coat chicken in cornstarch Fry of both sides for 4 mins each Make sauce - soy sauce, oyster sauce, honey, garlic, five spice powder - simmer 30 secs and add chicken and cook on high heat for 1-2 mins
Boneless, skinless, 4 minutes on high on both sides. The skillet should be too hot to touch when starting. You may need a coating on the skillet though.
I don't usually stop on food shorts, but bloody hell....this looks amazing. And the way she explains this actually made me feel like yeah, I could really make this myself.
ok, so i have a question. what happens with the remaining glaze, like do you pour it on the chicken or you throw it away, cuz i wanna do this recipe tonight and i don't wanna throw the glaze
Just tried this, definitely need to cook longer unless you have very thin thighs. Had to cover and cook on high for about 5 mins and ended up burning the glaze 😢
Just cook the chicken until it's done before you make the sauce.. When following a recipe for meat you calculate how long to cook it by the size and thickness. Meat doesn't come in the exact same size, most of the time
I made your recipes all the time and I appreciate you using things I already have in my pantry . So I’m not constantly having to buy things and I can make a quick dinner meal on the fly !
Ugh! I’m so disappointed in myself! This is a great recipe I definitely recommend people to make it. Although I tried to make this and totally ruined it. I’m very young and wanted to cook for my family after all they do for me, so when I saw this I thought this would be perfect. Aaaand I totally messed up, although I have no idea when. It burnt and the chicken tasted terrible 😞 So next time i’m going to look at some of her other recipes and try them out. Also a quick thank you to you for inspiring me to step out of my comfort zone and make some harder dishes for 12 year olds to make. I know this is probably really easy and it seemed at first but then I realized there were no measurements so I thought I could wing it buuut… no. I would ask if maybe in some other videos maybe you could use some measurements and thank would be fantastic! Definitely subscribing and totally recommend to make this, just maybe don’t mess up like me. 😅 Love your videos! ❤
Tried this recipe and loved it!!! It blows my mind that you didn't use eggs or buttermilk to make the chicken hella crispy! I did add some siracha to the sauce for a little kick! ❤❤
Thank you Tiff ! Just cooked your recipe for the first time tonight for dinner &I am happy to report that my boyfriend and I loved it ❤ Quick, easy & tasty! 😊
tiffy i love your vlogs so much! i hope you continue to post them and share us your family recipes and moments in your daily life ^^ you, acooknamedmatt, and quang tran are my favorite food content creators ever!
I cooked this yesterday. The whole family was obsessed! Even tho I had to use oyster powder and a bit different spice mix. I’m sure this recipe is going to be even more bombastic when I find the exact spices and the sauce. Thank you so much!
it might help if you leave it out to get closer to room temp before cooking. cooking straight from the fridge will of course lead to the center needing longer to be fully cooked. just in case that's your issue 😅
Just trust yourself and cook it longer if you feel the chicken is undercooked!Yes I agree the time she provides is too short but again..if that works for her then ok ig..but some people in the comments have been saying how theirs turned out to be undercooked..🍗so never follow the time allowed in cooking videos of meat if you feel like it needs more time cooking just cook it more let it be any cooking video😸
Made this and my daughter and I loved it!!! We dont eat alot of beef and Im always looking for a good Chicken recipe. Thank you! Thank you! THANK YOUU!!
Just made this for dinner 😊❤ easiest and most convenient real food I’ve cooked in some months lol! Thanks chef sooo much for sharing all these recipes…….and bomb ones at that 🫡
Just made this today, had all the ingredients except the five spice powder (made it without) and it turned out DELICIOUS!! Next time will make it with the 5 spice. Thank you!! Much love from Puerto Rico❤❤
We didn’t have skin on thighs so used boneless and it still turned out fine. Thanks! First recipe of yours that I’m trying and I can’t wait to try some of the others. Tomorrow, tofu!
I made this , so delicious , I couldn’t find the 5 ingredient so I improvised with a stir fry and it was still very good but I have ordered the 5 ingredient Chinese seasoning from Amazon. Also used chicken breast instead of thighs and it was delicious. This is going on the weekly menu . Thanks so much
