The first Yagbonwura to settle in Damongo was Yagbonwura Ewuntomah in 1943, not Kurabaso who was enskinned in 1975. I'm a Gonja from Damongo.

we deserved it, our tradition is a bond between mankind (our culture )marriage is a union between two people who have agreed to come together as one people . coach Zion he is teaching us to marriage from any tribe you want because we are one people no matter tribe you belong to. some people marriage culture is not helping us. The reason why gonja and Ashanti language is similar is that, gonjas and Ashanti’s are brothers. Ashanti’s first settled in Gonja when they migrated from the old Ghana empire. That is why The Yabonwura have to be around before any Ashanti’s king can be buried when died.
