Thats part of the reason Real Madrid won so many Champions League's because of so many wrong decisions: offside goals (mostly by Ronaldo), unfair red cards against the other team, wronly awarded penalties, etc. And than the other team their versing misses out on clear penalties, free kicks, etc. VAR has helped make the game a lot more fair, its very hard for a referee to spot everything when its happening so quickly.
