Blue Oyster Cult guitarist, Eric Bloom introduces bassist, Kasim Sulton while the band showcases the songs from the different groups Kasim has played with before he joined, Blue Oyster Cult, such as, Joan Jett, Todd Rundgren, and Meatloaf. This video also includes Blue Oyster Cult band members, Jules Radino on drums, and guitarist, Buck Dharma which was taken at the Pacific Amphitheatre on August 6, 2014 when Blue Oyster Cult opened the show for Deep Purple.

Eric was mistaken on one comment - Kas wasn't the original bassist for Utopia. That would have been John Siegler.

This past summer, I saw BOC for the first time in a decade, it was my 11th time seeing the band...the first being, June 28, 1977, when Todd Rundgren's Utopia opened for BOC, sharing their lazer show with their Egyptian/pyramid themed stage. We had row 3, floor seats, dead center...what a smokin show!!

I just saw Kasim a few weeks ago with Todd Rundgren and it was a great show he did all his hits and the band was great they had Prairie Prince on drums he was with the Tubes. Great show!!

Saw him last night with Todd Rundgren. He looks like he could be 20 years younger than his age.

Kasim is the real deal! He is an all around, world class musician! I've seen BOC a lot over the decades, and their live show harmony vocals never sounded better than when he was in the band.

I also saw Kasim with Blue Oyster Cult on the Rock Legends cruise 2015 and he did a great job.

This is a fun tribute. When Sarzo was with them they introduced him with snippets of Over the Mountain (Ozzy), Mental Health (Quiet Riot), and something by Whitesnake. After Miranda returned to the band they have introduced him as playing with Queen. Good stuff!
