New one from Bruce Dickinson (Iron Maiden) and his solo project.
Watch all the way through, Bruce has a surprise at the end that really caught me off guard!

“It was important to set the tone of the project with this track,” Dickinson said about the song in a statement. “As befitting its title, it’s a heavy song and there’s a great big riff driving it… but there’s also a real melody in the chorus that displays the light and shade that the rest of the album brings… and just wait until you see the video!”

The song is great, the video sucks! How can Bruce be satisfied with that cheesy, poorly produced piece of crap? 😅

I like the concept of the story. This is the first song so we need to heard the rest of the album.

Interesting song and concept, can't wait to see where this story goes. It seems like a mixture of the occult and a tragic future. Not sure but it seems that there are two main characters so far, the bearded man trying to use magic to discover the truth of some future event and Dickinson as someone trying to stop him, maybe the driving force behind the future event. The lyrics seem to be from the perspective of Dickinson's character and talk about him as possibly an inner version of the bearded character. Looking at the lines "And I will not be free / I cannot choose to be / 'Til my creator takes the chains off me" may be that Dickinson is warning the bearded character that his efforts will actually unleash the disaster. This is further indicated by the lines "I read your silent mind / I feel your hate refined / And the burning will begin in the circle of lust." I interpret the final few scenes in the video as Dickinson has stopped the first character, but the intervention of the woman revives him, allowing him to see the future and continue his quest to initiate it (maybe?).

After rewatching it I thought Bruce was trapped in the other dimension and trying to reach out to the guy, not clear, but that only builds the anticipation for the follow-up!

@@metalzonereactions So many ways that this could be interpreted which is why it makes it so intriguing and makes you really want to see that next installment.
