Come GM build the regular cab with short bed and load it up with top trims! Make a real sport truck that's what I'd like to see 👀!

They're only interested in moving the high profit models...And that's the big land yacht battle ship looking Crew Cabs with High Country/LTZ or Denali trims...GM doesn't care about the working man that wants a Regular Cab 4x4 or Regular Cab Trailboss with a shortbox..The Farmers up in Kansas/Nebraska and Illinois are notorious for buying the Regular Cab longbed models with LT or SLE trim...but GM cancelled those too...you can only get a Regular cab Lonbed with W/T trim now...GM's philosophy is "You can have any truck you want, as long as it's Crew Cab, High Country, Denali or LTZ in black or white"

I live in South Texas and I see these trucks for sale all the time but one key thing to note with these conversions is that all of the sellers want straight cash and this is due to the fact that once the insurance company finds out that you cut part of the integral chassis structure of the truck, they will automatically view them either as rebuilt title or salvage. The cheyenne LT single cab available in Mexico is the best option as it comes pretty loaded with technology such as heated seats and rear/front sensors. I have been waiting in line for mine but this damn chip shortage is horrendous with production.

GM please bring back the LT trim on your regular cab half tons, just like what you did with the three quarter tons.

Its so interesting to me that guys are so interested in short boxes regular cabs, while here where I'm from these are first cars for teens when they get their license and usually overlooked, although I own own lol

To all: stop calling it a regular (single) cab “short” box. The traditional regular cab comes in a “standard” box or “long” box. The “short” box only comes with a half ton Crew Cab. Short Box = 5.5’, Std. Box = 6.5’, Long Box = 8’.

I own a loaded 2018 GMC Sierra sle short bed regular cab...if GM would put a new one of these out today I would buy one in a heartbeat!

In Cali and Texas there’s a lot of these especially in SoCal where it’s close to Mexico and that’s where they bring em and shops out here cut the frames and make em short bed and there’s many for sale seen them for 50k

Truck is for sale in my hometown. Seen it in person. Sharp looking truck. Nearly crashed into the guy in front of me looking at it. lol breaks necks for sure especially considering how rare they are. I think this one is a conversion to short bed. Rebuilt title i believe. 33k cash is not bad if you consider the market. although here in south texas there are original Cheyenne mexican trucks for sale too.

I went to Dubai and got to see the GMC Sierra AT4 and Chevy Silverado TrailBoss 2 door reg cab. And I would buy the Silverado TrailBoss in 2 doors if it gets released in the US for sure.

2WD is a big bummer.. Texas makes great replica single cabs, but this one is not one of our greatest work..

I understand you were pointing the missing items from the HC trim but that’s bc they did the outside look and a bit in the interior, I mean for 35k that’s a deal, if you try to build one like that it should go over that price real quick and let’s be honest, since none of the single cab short bed are sold here, that’s the coolest truck in the US for the price today, just needs low pro tires and to be dropped low ✌🏼

Could it be a possibility that the GMC Sierra Reveal is decently spread out from the Silverado Reveal, so that it could give them time to improve anything small further based on the feedback given from the Silverado Reveal? Not sure why, but I'm starting to think that.

So this is NOT a real High Country. They just swapped out the Bucket Seats with the Badging and the swapped the body pieces with the High Country grill and bumpers. As I recall, Chevy did not actually offer a High Country in regular cab.

GM please make this truck in all trim levels with a 5.3 or a 6.2 engine. I won't buy a 2.7. Ford still makes a short bed ,reg cab w a 5.0 engine. Have considered buying a ford but my heart isn't in it. I feel betrayed considering the future loss of the camaro and the vette that isn't one now available. 19 was the real vettes last year as far as I'm concerned.

The GM trucks up front don't have enough ground clearance to go over a speed bump, much less take off the road. A 19-degree approach angle is ridiculous for a truck. It has to buy modified right after you buy it. Ford trucks aren't like this.

gm doesnt really listen to their customers much anymore, no short bed silverado, Z28 as a race car (now discontinued was such a bad idea), malibu with low horse power and a cvt, and a lot of plain old just poor quality
