Brilliant as always! Thanks so much for the tip about getting the wood banisters from the “outdoor” section. That is amazing! My flipping FAVORITE, I love love it! Being able to change it out through the seasons. The price blew me away. I had a birdhouse that was about half the size spindle in my 1st. place, and I put greenery around the base,and adding roof panels, made it mine, and I always wanted sum thing kinda similar, but this lamppost is my dream 😁

You’re DIY’S are always a hit, and keep us all wanting more! I want to hang out stockings this year from a mantle, I will make. A week ago Tuesday my son in law passed away. He tested positive for Covid, Unfortunately our household got it except for our eldest son- Thanks to our Loving Heavenly Father we are All doing better and will be better before we know it. My son in law had no idea he had this and his job was with the public. He was always very consciously about contracting it. When I’m better I will make the lamp post! Everyone please stay safe. The community I live in has been hit hard with this stuff. I try not to say the name of this virus as I don’t want to give it any Power and for it to manifest!! LOVE this!!! This is going on my "To Do" list for sure. Great job with finding the checker and chess pieces to finish off the dowels, very creative. A little helpful tip with your easy press, I've been known to iron my linen napkins with it. Wait, What! I know, right? Gets the job done so much quicker. I love your videos, I love Christmas decorations, amazing how ideas I get from videos that I see on Pinterest, or RU-vid, I been doing craft for many years, love it, I been retired for almost 11 yrs. and all my learning experiences for Christmas came from my parents, they used to do all the decorations, now they are gone, and I continue on my own, but looking at your video, this is amazing , you have great ideas, I love it, I will continue following you, thank you for sharing your experiences and taste on decorating, you're in a nice climate warm, we are in Massachusetts and it is very cold, expecting a snow storm, so my Sunday is going to be busy doing my Christmas decorations around the house, I love putting my decoration around the house.

Absolutely gorgeous Natalee!! I love, love, love it! Not sure that I would have the appropriate place for it myself, but it is the best I've seen DIY'd yet! The stockings are gorgeous too! I wish my store would get them in...fingers crossed! I've had my Cricut for about 3 years now, and I LOVE it. It's so great to have...when I need a personalized item, like a tshirt, just takes a few minutes and I have one done! I always keep my HTV stocked in a variety of colors just in case and my heat press ready to turn on. Have fun!! Hugs!!

So totally brilliant! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE that you made that lamp out of real wood. Dollar Tree materials are so flimsy and the projects I have seen, while cute designs, just look cheap. I love this sooooooo much it’s beautiful - and your skills with the power tools really inspire me!!! - I remember living in Florida and it being chilly and having no fireplace in our first house there - I wasn’t prepared for that 😂 as in California I’ve always had a fireplace even living at the beach! - I bought those same stockings and was kinda floored by the quality for a buck too - and the addition of glitter vinyl is perfect!

Having children, you always inevitably have bits and pieces of games. I've saved them in a re-purposed gallon pickle jar - everything from old Barbie accessories to games pieces to scrabble tiles to things that have come from cracker jacks or happy meals. Buttons, old drawer pulls, windows from an old dollhouse that i made over.... the jar is full or everything! I am constantly adding to and using things from it so it's never been completely full, but it has been well worth my effort. My children argue over who will inherit the Treasure Jar... LOL This project is awesome! I agree that the dollar tree projects are great but are not sturdy enough to survive year after year with children and pets and now, grandchildren. And this is one I can do on my own without having to schedule time with DH to help! Great job!!

I LOVE the Treasure Jar idea! Going to start one Today! And I'm sorry but those Dollar Tree diy's seem almost a waste of money! I don't know how some of the ones I've seen, last for a single holiday for a home with no kids or pets and much less when you put children and or pets in the picture! You really rocked the lamp post project. I was thinking you could easily sell them (to locals, of course). The stocking idea is cute, too. I held my breath as you applied the black vinyl lettering. It helps that it’s glitter vinyl, but white, silver, or gold glitter vinyl might add just the right amount of contrast.
